I love this.. Mr Brian Scott. I was sent to your readings of Neville Godsard by two videos I listened to.. in my curiosity I thought I should go to the source.. listening to your many lectures.. I Thank you, I am enlightened.
I have been studying neville for about a year now. Without a doubt everything neville teaches works. I have not only imagined for myself and transformed numerous situations but also for others (cancers, broken marriges, money issues, percieved severe mental health issues, and the list goes on) The most fascinating thing is when we use our imaginations lovingly on behalf of another, we get the equivalent result in our own life. As far as an sp, i think this lecture clearly states that he knew the moment he saw his sp "Bill", that he started imagining her as his wife. He also knew that he was entangled with his current wife so in order to disentangle himself he visualized an imaginal act to disentangle himself from his first wife so he could ask Bill to marry him properly (Neville and his first wife had been separated for many many years before he met his soon to be new wife). He tells in other lectures exactly what he did to do that. But yes, just from personal experience you can have anyone you choose!! So CHOOSE wisely! Power to all you beautiful people! You say something very true. Being from a christian background, it was so hard for me to listen to Nevilles teachings at first. To a point that i even stopped listening. Now 1 yr later i still have something lingering in the back of my mind as it is hard for me to detach my self from the indoctrination in my early life. However, i love this soul and i couldn't stay away from his teachings. You can tell he was pure love.
🔯 I was brought up Catholic and then dared to embrace the opposite. The shadow world. Then my thought evolved and I ended up an Atheist. It was weird because even when i didnt believe in God . I felt him deep down inside. Now i too know why. Self Actualization.
Once you have affirmations, communication and miracles blessings and manifestations in supernatural ways, from the only higher power in the world. That's all that matters and you will know, and never have doubt again, and daily your FAITH will increase. After all it is ONLY about Faith After all iv been shown. I went to a Christian church for years with minimal results other than making good friends. The first month listening to Neville Goddard, I got off the spinning wheel of mediocre life and I got big results.
You're absolutely right, I grew up in the Church of Christ....I have no judgement towards my upbringing but there is more to God and our existence than what I've been taught. I've found myself through seeking and I know now God reveals himself once we seek and no teaching or doctrine can hide us from the truth any longer. We are more powerful than we know, and though I know I could never create a leaf on a tree, I can create fruits in my own life because God is with me always and not in some far off place waiting to come back!
I love the mention of God and Jesus, for me anyway, as someone who grew up in a very strict Christian “fear thy God” home which originally turned me away from “religion” I had/have an internal pull to reconcile my personal feelings toward God with the teachings I was raised with. I finally feel at peace with Neville’s teachings.
I like to imagine Mother Earth, covered in beautiful abundant gardens with old fruit and nut trees. I see thriving animals living in the water and on the land, with a healthy, beautiful sky and fountains of healthy, clean water. I see you and everyone around the world enjoying life with plenty of healthy food and healthy bodies. I see peace throughout the world and joyful celebrations with young and old together, singing, dancing, playing music, eating delicious meals, and sipping bubbly beverages!
i just asked my "monster" before my imagination. i did hooponopono with him. then I saw the monster turn into a ball. I took the bullet and put it in my heart and offered to live here. Since then a very pleasant warmth has been flowing out of my chest, and I mean that physically.

Nice lecture! Idk if anyone here has done the “list method”. Neville does not talk about it, but it’s a technique where you write down your specific desires down on a journal and they manifest later in life unexpectedly. For example, I did this a few years back when I wanted to manifest a girlfriend of my choosing, so I wrote down qualities that I wanted in a woman such as her height, hair color, sense of humor, body features, etc. I put the list away and about 3 months later, I met this girl who resembles about 97% of all the qualities that I listed on my journal. I wasn’t surprised to say the least, but I wanted to prove that when you desire something, be specific and it will happen. AND, you don’t have to make a list. Just mentally wish was type of girl or guy you want and soon, you will meet someone as that person who you specifically described
I imagined falling in love with a wonderful man who was also coming off a very addicting Med & I did! It was the most lovely relationship I’d ever experienced! I would only want someone else who had experienced the same...but I don’t know what happened! It was amazing to not even see the bridge of incidents which occurred! Boom! It seemed I found myself in this beautiful imaginal act! I really didn’t see it coming! Then...all of a sudden, after about little more than a year, he stopped all communication out of the blue without explanation! Was it that I was picking up his feelings, being an empath, that he didn’t like? Who’s to say? I don’t know WHAT had happened to cause this! But it had been so lovely! 😊 He certainly was the right man at the time & has a beautiful soul no matter what! 😊♥️
For so long, cringed at the thought of Christ consciousness. I had an incorrect perception of such because I deemed myself lesser than rather than the miracle. In this time, it's a toss up but clearly a means for me to understand the truth within.

I can explain the obsession with the specific person (SP). It's what Neville did with his wife. The reason why Neville succeeded is because he persisted in his assumption until it hardened into fact. If the person you loved was revealed to be a murderer, would you still love that person? My answer is yes, because love is unconditional. By having someone who really knocks your socks off, you can love genuinely, not because you settled. Your children will grow up in a household where they get to see first hand what a truly unconditional, loving relationship is like. Therefore, they will go out into the world and model your success. This will continue to impact society for generations to come and start reducing the amount of dysfunctional relationships that exist today. The benefits will be too far reaching to imagine. The surface benefits will be happier kids, grandparents, parents, teachers, workers, etc., which will translate into less crime, less hate, more understanding, and a world that continues to come closer and closer together in love until one day hatred becomes a thing of the past. The light always scatters the darkness.
I liked this lecture as well. I don’t think a lot of people realize the innumerable ways that they could imagine feelings. You could imagine yourself as strong, or tall,as loving,as lovable,possibly even,intelligent. There are infinite ways,and they should be tried,according to your own ideal of your own heaven on earth.

I finally got it a couple of days ago. I am that's it. My mind is source and I give it to source even when I don't know in all my beliefs and they become. Why can't I stop becoming the beliefs and just become who I am. I am cause and effect when I am beliefs. I am joy when I am source and that which I am becomes me.
As i understand magic and universal law i understand why Neville says to wish for the perfect mate for u and not a specific mate. It's because what are the chances that the one u are currently focused on is truly perfect for u and if they are then they shall be the one anyway but if u wish for a specific one then u will manifest that one and they could be wrong for u and it will not work. If u ask for the proper one and allow the Universe to Choose then the proper one will be delivered... Brian, this was so good. The story Neville tells about speaking with his brother at 37:20 stood out to me as something I will remember. Neville said he would not wish on his worst enemy the lifestyle of one of the millionares that Neville's brother admired. He thought very little of the power of Caesear. It literally drains you of true power. Wow!
Neville had very little respect for money, and was only partially able to uderstand people's wish to be wealthy - he made a point several times that he did not ask for money -- and for the most part, Neville used his gift to help others

Brian , I have been reading and using Neville for over 20 years. I am visually impaired and have listened to everyone of his books and over 300 of his lectures hundreds of times in that amount of time that said I believe this reading was by far the best I have ever heard. I have confronted my own hairy ape man and the beautiful angel. I have manifested hundreds of thousands of dollars and continue to do so. I have even manifested people or drawn people into my life by being love because you cannot attract anything but what you are, and I would like to point out an incident in this lecture, that was extremely moving for me. I was walking into my kitchen when I heard you describe how we all existed prior to the creation of the universe being around God to our father as a little children, and I literally burst out crying remembering how greatly loved greatly protected and secure I was in my father’s presence. It was a poignant moment, because I am not given to outburst of emotion like that although I have to say that my sensitivity has increased because of my introduction to level I to have experience with NLP and many other techniques, and I consider myself a perpetual student. there is another point in your reading of this particular lecture where I had goosebumps again. This was pointing out to me, the necessity of my being constantly aware of who I am where I am in my own concept of myself like everybody I have made many many mistakes, unconsciously, but I am resolved to live my life consciously in the future. This is such a great topic!! I am grateful to have found your channel and for the work you do. The debate about attracting a SP person is intriguing to me. I had already manifested a specific person before I ever saw the idea that you can’t or shouldn’t (and have done this more than one time). I’ve pondered it since then. While I can’t say that I am right, my thoughts are these: Based on a few things, I interpret what Neville is telling these people is not that they cannot create a specific person, but that they mistake the nature of their desire. In another lecture he begins be asking the audience, “this night do you know what you want? Really know what you want?” I think to hold such a solid position as, “this person or no person” contradicts what Neville teaches about manifesting love in general. “The loving attract love”. To truly love someone you want what makes them happy. This means you have to be willing to set them free to find their own joy if it is not you, and still hold that feeling of love for them-which contradicts the position of “this person or no person”. In addition, as is noted in the teaching of Raja Yoga, most people do not have the focus to create what they want in the face of what reality is showing in the present moment. They mentally undo their creation as often as they create it. So, when faced with having to ‘release someone’, most do not hold themselves in the assumption it is done. In his lecture, “Brazen Impudence”, given on September 27, 1968, Neville speaks of manifesting his second wife. “When I decided to marry the lady who now bears my name I applied this principle. . . While sleeping, physically in my hotel room, I slept imaginatively in an apartment, she in one bed and I in the other. My dancing partner did not want me to marry, so she told my wife that I would be seeking a divorce and to make herself scarce - which she did, taking up residence in another state. But I persisted! Night after night I slept in the assumption that I was happily married to the girl I love (para 10).” Thank you for the thought provoking content, as always.
Rachelle , unfortunately most miss the fact that Neville was already involved with this lady for a long time and only wanted to get married. If you listen to Brazen Impudence you will realize that the problem he associates with it was the fact that he was still married, not getting a SP as he already had her and wanted to be married her to as opposed to just dating. You are right on your comments, if you love someone you will want them happy, with or without you.
@@garethcollocott6310 , this is a fair point, which, admittedly, I had not considered as I did not take instruction from that specific lecture when I applied Neville's principles. Based on my experiences with Neville's teachings, it had seemed to fit as in my mind, if you can undo a relationship using this law you can also create one. But, Neville, indeed, may not have been speaking of creating his relationship with this second wife. I appreciate that additional consideration. He did, however, attribute Aldous Huxley's second wife with attracting Aldous specifically in his lecture, The Secret of God: "I knew his first wife and I also knew his second. And the second wife got him the way those who were coming to my meetings got many of their mates. She came to my meetings and she set her heart on Aldous, as she told me herself and told him in my presence. 'That's exactly how I met you because I went to bed knowing - after your wife died and you were now a widower - that I am going to be your wife.' So, she became his wife."

Is the story where Neville tells us when he first met his wife before he was married to her he said that she was going to be his wife and she didn't even like him at the time but he insisted that she was going to marry him and she did... So I believe this is the mix-up when it comes to Neville Goddard cause he did married the woman that found him to be not her type!

Universal Unicorn I have always suspected their mutual friend had told Ab all about Neville in glowing terms six months earlier, so Ab had been waiting to meet Neville, about whom he had heard such wonderful things from their mutual friend.

If one reads this qoute from the lecture carefully one can intimate from Nevilles final words that some of his female lecture attendees did manifest 'the specific person' because he went to their weddings!....Always go to the end. Dwell in the end, and you will hurt no one. But if you try to devise the means, you are, well, messing the whole thing up. I have had people say to me, “You know, I want that man, and no other man.” I said, “No, you don’t; you want to be happily married. You don’t want that man or no man.” “Oh, yes, that man or no man.” Then, of course, this always shocks them. I say, “If he dropped dead right now, would you want to be married?” “Well, he isn’t going to drop…” “I didn’t ask you that. If he dropped dead right now, or if he is right this very moment accused of being the world’s greatest thief or murderer, do you still want him” “Well, now, why ask those questions, Neville? I want that man.” But, you see, it isn’t that man. They want to be happily married. I have gone to so many weddings where it was either that man or none, and it wasn’t “that man”! And they are embarrassed when they see me standing in the aisle, because it had to be “that man or no man,” and here it isn’t that man at all. And they walk down [the aisle] - they are happy with their new mate, but a little sheepish as they pass by because they know I know he was not the man.
I love this lecture, it’s in my list of favorites!! Because it’s amazing 😉 It makes me wonder what would happen if we would apply in its totality in our lives !!! I do NOT believe we can manifest a specific person in the sense most seem to understand it. I am a member of a couple of Neville Goddard FB groups, and there was an individual trying to manifest her abuser to love her and treat her right. When I expressed my concern, she also used the example you used as proof that Neville Goddard said you could manifest a particular person. That was NOT my understanding of what NG stated. I manifested my husband, long before I knew anything about NG. I had been in an emotionally abusive relationship and had gotten out. I asked God to find my ideal mate, that I would not look because my skills of finding a mate were far from ideal, OR allow me to be perfectly happy in my single state. I learned to enjoy things alone. I would have dreams of this ideal mate. In other words, I would be partnered with this ideal soulmate in my dream reality. I never remembered what he looked like after the dream but knew he was interested in architecture and similar things. Maybe a year later I meet my then future husband who had moved to Atlanta to build one of venues for the 2000 Olympics. BTW his undergrad degree is in architecture and he has two masters in building construction and real estate development. We dated for 5 years, had a year long engagement, and then married. We have been together over 25 years and married about 20 years. The reason I believe we cannot manifest or imagine a certain or specific person we already know, is because we NEVER really know the people we see...we do NOT know their hearts, and many times they aren't our ideal mate. Plus we all have free will. I mean I guess you can manifest them in your life but you can't make them treat you right or love you. Why would you want that?

this was a very powerful lecture, and, regarding the idea of a specific person Neville is absolutely hitting the nail on the head. From my own personal experience, I can testify to the fact that there is no such thing as a specific person. That only the loving, find love is true, but that Hass to be a mutual relationship. When I imagine a mutually loving relationship instead of making, as I have done in the past a long list of the attributes, I am looking for, instead I say it is done. God is doing it in the best possible way to the mutual benefit of all of the parties concerned. It is done. I have a suspicion as to who she might be because like Neville I knew instantly when I met her now I sit quietly and wait for her to come around. Ha ha ha love you brother.

I have difficulty saying ‘I’m God’ and that ‘I am’. I’ve been taught that it’s a sin of PRIDE It’s difficult to explore these ideas, but it makes sense

I believe the reason why manifesting specific things and people might not work, is because the level of intensity is too strong. The person is attached and this is registered as need and not content. You cannot have attachments to earthly things or you will trigger the matrix algorithm to send you more need and not content. Here's something I’ve been contemplating: 😊 The idea is that all thoughts come to you through the matrix. You don't think anything on your own, but you choose which thoughts to dwell on and keep in your personal experience. You are a receptacle. You also feed the matrix by your energy as does everyone. 😊 Once you understand how the matrix algorithm works, you can navigate it in your favor. In my opinion, the only way you can gain this understanding is if you pass through the point of contraction and reach rock bottom, where all attachments have been severed. 👉In my opinion, this is why life is suffering, because this is our human purpose to suffer, till we reach the point of contraction where we have no choice but to search inward for our keys. 🔑 Then, the person is starving for purpose and in the right mind and place to begin the inward journey alone. Alone, because it is an inward journey and only you can pave its course. 👉This journey allows you to reach higher consciousness, and if you had not gone through the suffering, you would not be able to reach higher consciousness. Your personal default vibration and thoughts are navigation tools. 👉The reason why the law of attraction appears to have limits to those that have not reached the point of contraction, is because one cannot fully take ownership of his mind, if he has attachments elsewhere. He will be using the law of attraction to prolong his spiritual journey. 👉You can still enjoy things in the matrix without having attachments to them in your spiritual journey. For example: Timmy has to have a red sports car to feel fulfilled. (This means he has an earthly attachment that will keep him from exploring his spiritual path.) He tries to use the law of attraction to bring about this specific car. He buys the car, but deep down he is still unfulfilled. He looks for the next fix. Timmy is in lack of when desiring instead of contentment. Sarah on-the-other-hand, desires to have a red sports car, but her deepest energy is not in “need” of it for fulfillment. While she can properly enjoy the car, she is not seeking personal fulfillment through having it. Timmy has triggered the algorithm matrix to send more need his way; while, Sarah has sent a signal for more content. 👉Sarah had not been born with the ability to feel contentment but had to learn this through suffering and experience. She is just a bit more spiritually advanced than Timmy in her journey. A person has to reach the point where he realizes everything is meaningless and unfulfilling to become unattached. As he reaches this point of contraction, he will have to reach a deep depression, which simultaneously, triggers the algorithm to then bring him more negative things, and this cannot be helped. It is a stage in the spiritual enlightenment journey that one must go through. No matter how he has used positive vibrations to receive positive things, deep down, he will feel a deep void and this will trigger the algorithm to bring him more of that. 👉I believe the matrix algorithm is designed to assist a person to the point of contraction, till he reaches this point, no matter how hard he tries to fight it. Most likely, he will reach this point when he has exhausted all options and lets go. Sooner or later, one will realize the confines of the matrix and feel trapped, and no amount of positive placating will alleviate his awareness. After the person reaches this point, s/he’ll begins the journey inward and finds a narrow path towards enlightenment. The void must be attended too in its deepest and darkest point, to deal with the core. Many mask the void with self-medication, food, alcohol, spending and distractions, instead of dealing with the core void. When the core is masked with false positives, the person will not be able to overcome this pull inward and will continue to get triggers of deep depression. 👉Depression is always a spiritual trigger. Being closer to your source (combined energy of the matrix/ higher self), you receive more downloads that you can bring into your reality. You receive more creative energy and you are riding on the waves instead of struggling to swim. 🏄♀️ 👉This could be what the Bible was talking about about "walking on water." The further away you are from your source, you will be cut off from this energy source and things will become very difficult because you will have a finite flow of energy or recycled energy. The internal pain triggers your soul to tend to it, and the universal energy is drawing you closer to it, so there is an inward tug and pull, but each person must choose to drop the matrix distractions and follow their intuition. When a person is starving for this, it allows him/her to pursue it to the end. 😊
This is the lecture about the specific person! Neville says" when I seen my wife I wanted her. " He then worked to get divorced so he could marry Bill.. Not to be happily married, but to marry specifically Bill. There's contradiction in this lecture.
I think its focused on Neville because of when he talks about his wife and him and how he knew he wanted her since he met her and he got her. Thats what I think about with a specific person and Neville.
Was this the lecture in which he says of the engagement ring that “it doesn’t have to be the biggest ‘aspidastera?’” That made me laugh when I first heard it! I had to look it up as I had heard that word, but I couldn’t remember what it was...a marine fossil or something like a starfish! Then I laughed even more! 😂 At least the best I could find, except for ‘aspidistra,’ a plant. 🤷🏻♀️

I love this.. Mr Brian Scott. I was sent to your readings of Neville Godsard by two videos I listened to.. in my curiosity I thought I should go to the source.. listening to your many lectures.. I Thank you, I am enlightened.
I have been studying neville for about a year now. Without a doubt everything neville teaches works. I have not only imagined for myself and transformed numerous situations but also for others (cancers, broken marriges, money issues, percieved severe mental health issues, and the list goes on) The most fascinating thing is when we use our imaginations lovingly on behalf of another, we get the equivalent result in our own life. As far as an sp, i think this lecture clearly states that he knew the moment he saw his sp "Bill", that he started imagining her as his wife. He also knew that he was entangled with his current wife so in order to disentangle himself he visualized an imaginal act to disentangle himself from his first wife so he could ask Bill to marry him properly (Neville and his first wife had been separated for many many years before he met his soon to be new wife). He tells in other lectures exactly what he did to do that. But yes, just from personal experience you can have anyone you choose!! So CHOOSE wisely! Power to all you beautiful people! As I was listening a phrase I see a lot of Christian's use came into mind - "Get right with God." Then my mind started playing with the concept that that means "Get right with your own Imagination". That feels amazing.

You say something very true. Being from a christian background, it was so hard for me to listen to Nevilles teachings at first. To a point that i even stopped listening. Now 1 yr later i still have something lingering in the back of my mind as it is hard for me to detach my self from the indoctrination in my early life. However, i love this soul and i couldn't stay away from his teachings. You can tell he was pure love.
🔯 I was brought up Catholic and then dared to embrace the opposite. The shadow world. Then my thought evolved and I ended up an Atheist. It was weird because even when i didnt believe in God . I felt him deep down inside. Now i too know why. Self Actualization.
Once you have affirmations, communication and miracles blessings and manifestations in supernatural ways, from the only higher power in the world. That's all that matters and you will know, and never have doubt again, and daily your FAITH will increase.

I went to a Christian church for years with minimal results other than making good friends. The first month listening to Neville Goddard, I got off the spinning wheel of mediocre life and I got big results.
You're absolutely right, I grew up in the Church of Christ....I have no judgement towards my upbringing but there is more to God and our existence than what I've been taught. I've found myself through seeking and I know now God reveals himself once we seek and no teaching or doctrine can hide us from the truth any longer. We are more powerful than we know, and though I know I could never create a leaf on a tree, I can create fruits in my own life because God is with me always and not in some far off place waiting to come back!
I love the mention of God and Jesus, for me anyway, as someone who grew up in a very strict Christian “fear thy God” home which originally turned me away from “religion” I had/have an internal pull to reconcile my personal feelings toward God with the teachings I was raised with. I finally feel at peace with Neville’s teachings.
I like to imagine Mother Earth, covered in beautiful abundant gardens with old fruit and nut trees. I see thriving animals living in the water and on the land, with a healthy, beautiful sky and fountains of healthy, clean water.
I see you and everyone around the world enjoying life with plenty of healthy food and healthy bodies.
I see peace throughout the world and joyful celebrations with young and old together, singing, dancing, playing music, eating delicious meals, and sipping bubbly beverages!

i just asked my "monster" before my imagination. i did hooponopono with him. then I saw the monster turn into a ball. I took the bullet and put it in my heart and offered to live here. Since then a very pleasant warmth has been flowing out of my chest, and I mean that physically.
I was 20 years old when I decided that I was going to stop watching the news because everything was negative and it was hurting me so I decided that I was going to watch Three's Company instead so I'd be able to laugh and enjoy my life

Nice lecture! Idk if anyone here has done the “list method”. Neville does not talk about it, but it’s a technique where you write down your specific desires down on a journal and they manifest later in life unexpectedly. For example, I did this a few years back when I wanted to manifest a girlfriend of my choosing, so I wrote down qualities that I wanted in a woman such as her height, hair color, sense of humor, body features, etc. I put the list away and about 3 months later, I met this girl who resembles about 97% of all the qualities that I listed on my journal. I wasn’t surprised to say the least, but I wanted to prove that when you desire something, be specific and it will happen. AND, you don’t have to make a list. Just mentally wish was type of girl or guy you want and soon, you will meet someone as that person who you specifically described
I imagined falling in love with a wonderful man who was also coming off a very addicting Med & I did! It was the most lovely relationship I’d ever experienced! I would only want someone else who had experienced the same...but I don’t know what happened! It was amazing to not even see the bridge of incidents which occurred! Boom! It seemed I found myself in this beautiful imaginal act! I really didn’t see it coming! Then...all of a sudden, after about little more than a year, he stopped all communication out of the blue without explanation! Was it that I was picking up his feelings, being an empath, that he didn’t like? Who’s to say? I don’t know WHAT had happened to cause this! But it had been so lovely! 😊 He certainly was the right man at the time & has a beautiful soul no matter what! 😊♥️
For so long, cringed at the thought of Christ consciousness. I had an incorrect perception of such because I deemed myself lesser than rather than the miracle. In this time, it's a toss up but clearly a means for me to understand the truth within.

I can explain the obsession with the specific person (SP). It's what Neville did with his wife. The reason why Neville succeeded is because he persisted in his assumption until it hardened into fact. If the person you loved was revealed to be a murderer, would you still love that person? My answer is yes, because love is unconditional. By having someone who really knocks your socks off, you can love genuinely, not because you settled. Your children will grow up in a household where they get to see first hand what a truly unconditional, loving relationship is like. Therefore, they will go out into the world and model your success. This will continue to impact society for generations to come and start reducing the amount of dysfunctional relationships that exist today. The benefits will be too far reaching to imagine. The surface benefits will be happier kids, grandparents, parents, teachers, workers, etc., which will translate into less crime, less hate, more understanding, and a world that continues to come closer and closer together in love until one day hatred becomes a thing of the past. The light always scatters the darkness.
I liked this lecture as well. I don’t think a lot of people realize the innumerable ways that they could imagine feelings. You could imagine yourself as strong, or tall,as loving,as lovable,possibly even,intelligent. There are infinite ways,and they should be tried,according to your own ideal of your own heaven on earth.

My mind is source and I give it to source even when I don't know in all my beliefs and they become.
Why can't I stop becoming the beliefs and just become who I am.
I am cause and effect when I am beliefs.
I am joy when I am source and that which I am becomes me.
As i understand magic and universal law i understand why Neville says to wish for the perfect mate for u and not a specific mate. It's because what are the chances that the one u are currently focused on is truly perfect for u and if they are then they shall be the one anyway but if u wish for a specific one then u will manifest that one and they could be wrong for u and it will not work. If u ask for the proper one and allow the Universe to Choose then the proper one will be delivered... Brian, this was so good. The story Neville tells about speaking with his brother at 37:20 stood out to me as something I will remember. Neville said he would not wish on his worst enemy the lifestyle of one of the millionares that Neville's brother admired. He thought very little of the power of Caesear. It literally drains you of true power. Wow!
Neville had very little respect for money, and was only partially able to uderstand people's wish to be wealthy - he made a point several times that he did not ask for money -- and for the most part, Neville used his gift to help others

Brian , I have been reading and using Neville for over 20 years. I am visually impaired and have listened to everyone of his books and over 300 of his lectures hundreds of times in that amount of time that said I believe this reading was by far the best I have ever heard. I have confronted my own hairy ape man and the beautiful angel. I have manifested hundreds of thousands of dollars and continue to do so. I have even manifested people or drawn people into my life by being love because you cannot attract anything but what you are, and I would like to point out an incident in this lecture, that was extremely moving for me. I was walking into my kitchen when I heard you describe how we all existed prior to the creation of the universe being around God to our father as a little children, and I literally burst out crying remembering how greatly loved greatly protected and secure I was in my father’s presence. It was a poignant moment, because I am not given to outburst of emotion like that although I have to say that my sensitivity has increased because of my introduction to level I to have experience with NLP and many other techniques, and I consider myself a perpetual student. there is another point in your reading of this particular lecture where I had goosebumps again. This was pointing out to me, the necessity of my being constantly aware of who I am where I am in my own concept of myself like everybody I have made many many mistakes, unconsciously, but I am resolved to live my life consciously in the future. The debate about attracting a SP person is intriguing to me. I had already manifested a specific person before I ever saw the idea that you can’t or shouldn’t (and have done this more than one time). I’ve pondered it since then. While I can’t say that I am right, my thoughts are these:
Based on a few things, I interpret what Neville is telling these people is not that they cannot create a specific person, but that they mistake the nature of their desire. In another lecture he begins be asking the audience, “this night do you know what you want? Really know what you want?”
I think to hold such a solid position as, “this person or no person” contradicts what Neville teaches about manifesting love in general. “The loving attract love”. To truly love someone you want what makes them happy. This means you have to be willing to set them free to find their own joy if it is not you, and still hold that feeling of love for them-which contradicts the position of “this person or no person”.
In addition, as is noted in the teaching of Raja Yoga, most people do not have the focus to create what they want in the face of what reality is showing in the present moment. They mentally undo their creation as often as they create it. So, when faced with having to ‘release someone’, most do not hold themselves in the assumption it is done.
In his lecture, “Brazen Impudence”, given on September 27, 1968, Neville speaks of manifesting his second wife. “When I decided to marry the lady who now bears my name I applied this principle. . . While sleeping, physically in my hotel room, I slept imaginatively in an apartment, she in one bed and I in the other. My dancing partner did not want me to marry, so she told my wife that I would be seeking a divorce and to make herself scarce - which she did, taking up residence in another state. But I persisted! Night after night I slept in the assumption that I was happily married to the girl I love (para 10).”

Rachelle , unfortunately most miss the fact that Neville was already involved with this lady for a long time and only wanted to get married. If you listen to Brazen Impudence you will realize that the problem he associates with it was the fact that he was still married, not getting a SP as he already had her and wanted to be married her to as opposed to just dating. You are right on your comments, if you love someone you will want them happy, with or without you.

@@garethcollocott6310 , this is a fair point, which, admittedly, I had not considered as I did not take instruction from that specific lecture when I applied Neville's principles. Based on my experiences with Neville's teachings, it had seemed to fit as in my mind, if you can undo a relationship using this law you can also create one. But, Neville, indeed, may not have been speaking of creating his relationship with this second wife. I appreciate that additional consideration. He did, however, attribute Aldous Huxley's second wife with attracting Aldous specifically in his lecture, The Secret of God: "I knew his first wife and I also knew his second. And the second wife got him the way those who were coming to my meetings got many of their mates. She came to my meetings and she set her heart on Aldous, as she told me herself and told him in my presence. 'That's exactly how I met you because I went to bed knowing - after your wife died and you were now a widower - that I am going to be your wife.' So, she became his wife."

I love the content! I believe the mix up about everyone is you pushed out! Is the story where Neville tells us when he first met his wife before he was married to her he said that she was going to be his wife and she didn't even like him at the time but he insisted that she was going to marry him and she did... So I believe this is the mix-up when it comes to Neville Goddard cause he did married the woman that found him to be not her type!

If one reads this qoute from the lecture carefully one can intimate from Nevilles final words that some of his female lecture attendees did manifest 'the specific person' because he went to their weddings!....Always go to the end. Dwell in the end, and you will hurt no one. But if you try to devise the means, you are, well, messing the whole thing up. I have had people say to me, “You know, I want that man, and no other man.”
I said, “No, you don’t; you want to be happily married. You don’t want that man or no man.”
“Oh, yes, that man or no man.”
Then, of course, this always shocks them.
I say, “If he dropped dead right now, would you want to be married?”
“Well, he isn’t going to drop…”
“I didn’t ask you that. If he dropped dead right now, or if he is right this very moment accused of being the world’s greatest thief or murderer, do you still want him”
“Well, now, why ask those questions, Neville? I want that man.”
But, you see, it isn’t that man. They want to be happily married. I have gone to so many weddings where it was either that man or none, and it wasn’t “that man”! And they are embarrassed when they see me standing in the aisle, because it had to be “that man or no man,” and here it isn’t that man at all. And they walk down [the aisle] - they are happy with their new mate, but a little sheepish as they pass by because they know I know he was not the man.

I agree with you this lecture tell people not to choose an SP person but to let your Higher Being to do so. Be specific in what you want and let the rest to the Universe!!!
I do NOT believe we can manifest a specific person in the sense most seem to understand it. I am a member of a couple of Neville Goddard FB groups, and there was an individual trying to manifest her abuser to love her and treat her right. When I expressed my concern, she also used the example you used as proof that Neville Goddard said you could manifest a particular person. That was NOT my understanding of what NG stated.
I manifested my husband, long before I knew anything about NG. I had been in an emotionally abusive relationship and had gotten out. I asked God to find my ideal mate, that I would not look because my skills of finding a mate were far from ideal, OR allow me to be perfectly happy in my single state. I learned to enjoy things alone. I would have dreams of this ideal mate. In other words, I would be partnered with this ideal soulmate in my dream reality. I never remembered what he looked like after the dream but knew he was interested in architecture and similar things. Maybe a year later I meet my then future husband who had moved to Atlanta to build one of venues for the 2000 Olympics. BTW his undergrad degree is in architecture and he has two masters in building construction and real estate development. We dated for 5 years, had a year long engagement, and then married. We have been together over 25 years and married about 20 years.
The reason I believe we cannot manifest or imagine a certain or specific person we already know, is because we NEVER really know the people we see...we do NOT know their hearts, and many times they aren't our ideal mate. this was a very powerful lecture, and, regarding the idea of a specific person Neville is absolutely hitting the nail on the head. From my own personal experience, I can testify to the fact that there is no such thing as a specific person. That only the loving, find love is true, but that Hass to be a mutual relationship. When I imagine a mutually loving relationship instead of making, as I have done in the past a long list of the attributes, I am looking for, instead I say it is done. God is doing it in the best possible way to the mutual benefit of all of the parties concerned. It is done. I have a suspicion as to who she might be because like Neville I knew instantly when I met her now I sit quietly and wait for her to come around. Ha ha ha love you brother.

I believe the reason why manifesting specific things and people might not work, is because the level of intensity is too strong. The person is attached and this is registered as need and not content.
You cannot have attachments to earthly things or you will trigger the matrix algorithm to send you more need and not content.
Here's something I’ve been contemplating: 😊
The idea is that all thoughts come to you through the matrix. You don't think anything on your own, but you choose which thoughts to dwell on and keep in your personal experience.
You are a receptacle. You also feed the matrix by your energy as does everyone. 😊
Once you understand how the matrix algorithm works, you can navigate it in your favor.
In my opinion, the only way you can gain this understanding is if you pass through the point of contraction and reach rock bottom, where all attachments have been severed.
👉In my opinion, this is why life is suffering, because this is our human purpose to suffer, till we reach the point of contraction where we have no choice but to search inward for our keys. 🔑
Then, the person is starving for purpose and in the right mind and place to begin the inward journey alone. Alone, because it is an inward journey and only you can pave its course.
👉This journey allows you to reach higher consciousness, and if you had not gone through the suffering, you would not be able to reach higher consciousness.
Your personal default vibration and thoughts are navigation tools.
👉The reason why the law of attraction appears to have limits to those that have not reached the point of contraction, is because one cannot fully take ownership of his mind, if he has attachments elsewhere. He will be using the law of attraction to prolong his spiritual journey.
👉You can still enjoy things in the matrix without having attachments to them in your spiritual journey.
For example:
Timmy has to have a red sports car to feel fulfilled. (This means he has an earthly attachment that will keep him from exploring his spiritual path.) He tries to use the law of attraction to bring about this specific car. He buys the car, but deep down he is still unfulfilled. He looks for the next fix. Timmy is in lack of when desiring instead of contentment.
Sarah on-the-other-hand, desires to have a red sports car, but her deepest energy is not in “need” of it for fulfillment. While she can properly enjoy the car, she is not seeking personal fulfillment through having it.
Timmy has triggered the algorithm matrix to send more need his way; while, Sarah has sent a signal for more content.
👉Sarah had not been born with the ability to feel contentment but had to learn this through suffering and experience. She is just a bit more spiritually advanced than Timmy in her journey.
A person has to reach the point where he realizes everything is meaningless and unfulfilling to become unattached. As he reaches this point of contraction, he will have to reach a deep depression, which simultaneously, triggers the algorithm to then bring him more negative things, and this cannot be helped. It is a stage in the spiritual enlightenment journey that one must go through.
No matter how he has used positive vibrations to receive positive things, deep down, he will feel a deep void and this will trigger the algorithm to bring him more of that.
👉I believe the matrix algorithm is designed to assist a person to the point of contraction, till he reaches this point, no matter how hard he tries to fight it. Most likely, he will reach this point when he has exhausted all options and lets go.
Sooner or later, one will realize the confines of the matrix and feel trapped, and no amount of positive placating will alleviate his awareness. After the person reaches this point, s/he’ll begins the journey inward and finds a narrow path towards enlightenment.
The void must be attended too in its deepest and darkest point, to deal with the core.
Many mask the void with self-medication, food, alcohol, spending and distractions, instead of dealing with the core void.
When the core is masked with false positives, the person will not be able to overcome this pull inward and will continue to get triggers of deep depression.
👉Depression is always a spiritual trigger.
Being closer to your source (combined energy of the matrix/ higher self), you receive more downloads that you can bring into your reality. You receive more creative energy and you are riding on the waves instead of struggling to swim. 🏄♀️
👉This could be what the Bible was talking about about "walking on water."
The further away you are from your source, you will be cut off from this energy source and things will become very difficult because you will have a finite flow of energy or recycled energy.
The internal pain triggers your soul to tend to it, and the universal energy is drawing you closer to it, so there is an inward tug and pull, but each person must choose to drop the matrix distractions and follow their intuition.
When a person is starving for this, it allows him/her to pursue it to the end. 😊

This is the lecture about the specific person! Neville says" when I seen my wife I wanted her. " He then worked to get divorced so he could marry Bill.. Not to be happily married, but to marry specifically Bill. There's contradiction in this lecture.

Was this the lecture in which he says of the engagement ring that “it doesn’t have to be the biggest ‘aspidastera?’” That made me laugh when I first heard it! I had to look it up as I had heard that word, but I couldn’t remember what it was...a marine fossil or something like a starfish! Then I laughed even more! 😂 At least the best I could find, except for ‘aspidistra,’ a plant. 🤷🏻♀️
