Carrie's New Friends Ditch Her | The King of Queens

They didn't ditch her. She just got an inferiority complex, because they were all lawyers and she was the only one, who was not. They were nice about it.
It would have made sense for Carrie to become a paralegal, and get her degree. CCs do offer a paralegal degree program. She already had experience working for a big law firm. She was on Doug constantly about lacking ambition, but not when it came to herself.
She would have gone to college had Arthur shielded her once her mother died. In one episode, while Arthur was in the hospital, she found her acceptance letter to college. He didn't want to be alone, so he blew her chances of a better opportunity. She could have gone back to college and stayed there, but she felt like she couldn't handle it. Carrie is a smart woman. She just settled.
Better opportunity? She probably would not care about her father and wouldn't have met Doug, and probably would have been as stuck up as the women who ditched her.
@rogervincent2092 is definitely true. I think her life is still great with or without a college degree, but she would at least have a chance.
I love that you know the episode so well. Lol Me too!
Arthur is so evil, worst father, he also insisted on being in the changing room when they went bra shopping 😮 What?
@@JCBB18 what i don't get she went back to school i don't know what happen if she drop out or finsh school because she still assisent then got fired from law firm got a job in real estate as assisant again blame arthur of not going college she can only apply for assisant
The title is misleading. Her friends didn't ditch her.
The ditched her emotionally.
What a touching episode. This rises above😢
Carrie could have gone to college in Queens or go community college just because Arthur manipulate Carrie from leaving Queens for college doesn't mean she couldn't gone college she could have gone school in Queens still working
Exactly. Idk why they never had her become a paralegal, which they offer at CC.
Why does everyone think Carrie is mean and annoying. I love her. She’s like the voice that says what everyone is thinking but too afraid to say
If it needs to be said then you got to say it instead push it under rug and say it ok when it really not
That’s the problem, people do not like real people.. they like fakes who will say anything to be mice
Lol I love her as a character for the show, but she’s def a bitch let’s get real.
because saying all the rude intrusive thoughts in your head isn't good socially, if you don't like someone don't keep spending time with them, the answer isn't to verbally attack them every chance you get.
She's is mean and sometimes even evil in the later episodes but earlier episodes, she was okay even sweet sometimes
food. is there anything it can't do?
Food can't talk it just there that why it comfort
@@jennyfantana3717 but food speaks to you. it communicates in numerous ways.
Things were actually going well with Carrie and the other women, until they found out that she wasn't a lawyer, but a executive secretary at the law firm. To be fair and honest. Carrie is a very intelligent person. If she had the opportunity to go to college, she would have made a great attorney.
She doesnt need them anyway...they were only about so called high status
Ever watch show ally McBeal the character Elaine secretary she hangs out with lawyers and those lawyer never made her feel unwanted
Ok Carrie being a drama queen,, her friends were not being mean to her, if anything they tried to make her feel good,,
Is that “ Nina Katz?! “ 😂
Yes she always plays a bitch dosent she
Sheesh I felt so bad for Kary I almost cried… what assholes to make her feel like that😭💙😭💙😭💙
Get a grip dude.
Why they thought she lawyer begin with?
Eh no, SHE made _herself_ feel like that. Anyway, it's not real 🙄
It's administrative assistant
For assistant she does lots of work from home writing report being in those meetings I thought secretary or assistant just answered phone give coffee because Carrie does more than that
Carrie's an executive assistant and one of the firm's paralegals.
@The King of Queens This is episode 4 of season 3. Not episode 7.
*Tbh I’m surprised she actually has any friends in the first place. She’s 92% of the time unkind throughout the King of Queens seasons.*
These weren’t her friends. They were co workers and some she just met this night
Carrie doesn't have friends except for Kelly. Kelly is her only friend.
AND WE LOVE HER FOR IT!
@@lianat8879 She has some "one episode friends" like her gay "work husband Kurt" or that one Natalie Imbruglia clone who moved into the neighborhood. Or the friend she had in that club when she first met Doug + Richie. Also there are women who see themselves as Carrie's friend, but Carrie rejects them like Holly or Dorothy Sacksky or the girl whose wedding got ruined by Doug's pen!s photo.
She’s a New Yorker…what you think is rude is normal for some.
a snack lol
It is comfort food is there for you
What episode and season is this?
My favorite show besides Roseanne and x files!
All classic 90s shows!
@@EMVelez Roseanne was an 80s show too. First aired in 1988.😊
X-Files my man. I want to believe
Y’all gonna act like “Seinfeld” and “Friends” didn’t exist
@@Hilarious_Kris "Friends". Nada. LOL
i have seen reruns of all episodes at least 10 times but for some reason i dont remember this scene
I love both of them so much.
me too. Great chemistry.
2:28 - Always cracks me up! 😆
carrie feel like she nothing because she assisent that exact same feeling she has for doug & his job at least doug isn't kissing up doing these extra things like babysitting boss kids give bagels or dealing w/people who are picky about coffee or anything like that doug job is just as important as carrie delievery make sure they get their package & doug boss know who doug really is carrie boss doesn't because she put on act that the resason why she never went up higher in her job
People are really very mean. I do need to do that. I just read about men being violent naturally. I am very glad that I have never been violent. My mom and stepdad were not. I was at their wedding at age 10. I am so glad I knew non-violent parents until 2018, when they both were dead. It was such a loss. Out came the violent men. It was awful!! Diana ps. Now I finally know, I do not want anything to do with violence. I will stay single as I am not violent. If so many men are; I do need or want to get married any more. Diana ps. I will not date and be my sweet self to find out I am seeing a friek!! Diana
And women wonder why we dont wanna listen to your stories. Not saying she doesnt have a point, but cry or tell me what happened. I cant understand or help you when you do both at the same time. Thats why we try to calm you. Not trying to be rude to you.
God doesn't have children
Later in the episode, Doug eats a sandwich from a vending machine in the library. What type of sandwich is it?
There are refrigerated vending machines that sell things like sandwiches or microwavable foods.
dont forget hot coffee machines
