As an American-born Filipino, I was raised Catholic and then eventually just believed in good energy, karma, and the universe. I felt lost and started to look into religion and the history of the Philippines and I surprisingly found Islam and how it was present in the PI way before the Spanish came and conquered. As I go more into my studies about our history and Islam, I now feel a sense of purpose. Alhamdulillah!
