I have two of the Chinese mini excavators. I love them so far but take into consideration the undercarriage and drive motors on the yellow prowler units, They have some lighter duty components when compared to the H12's and QH12's. Just like the AGT QS12r's are lighter duty.
Auctions are notoriously difficult to win. I've been to a few myself, even with no minimum bids, and it's hard. Just when you want something, there's always somebody who wants it just a little bit more....and has more money too. And I advise to stay away from "sealed bid" auctions, those are really hard to win because you don't know what your competition is bidding, so you can way underbid or way overbid and end up paying way more than you have to. I've got to where I do it the old fashioned way......classifieds...LOL. 😅 Sorry it didn't work out Hank, hopefully it will work better next time. Thanks for sharing! God bless!
I bought agt qh12 at auction ...i love it for trenching, removing brush, even got a ripper for atump removal....small 5" trees but its a back saver..i love it
Seen a few mini at the local auction the last few times I went. Thought about getting one. Just as an project for my kids and I. We love to tinker with Go-Karts, mini bikes, ect... We already drew up some ideas for one.
Hey Hank those trailer dumps with the scissor lift we have issue of weight is on the front it won’t lift it. You get the double cylinder I think will never have that issue but I’ve not used anything but the scissor type you may do some investigating further.
The last auction I went to was a machine shop type auction with all kinds of industrial equipment. They had everything from table saws and commercial washing machines to school busses. I got a little metal lathe for $300. There was a really nice 3 phase engine lathe that went for $200 and it looked almost new. It was missing the tail stock but still worth the $200 in scrap I would imagine. If I could have moved it I would have it in my garage right now. Auctions are pretty fun imo I can see how they can be addicting getting stuff for so cheap and being able to resell 😢for a nice profit.
I never saw a real auction with the auctioneer saying gibberish. I've only seen it on tv. I wasn't even sure what the price he was saying was. It was pretty cool.
Chances are the owner was protecting them. about $4200 each is what they cost if you ship them in but you have to buy shipping container full. I haven't seen any go for less... yet These things are going to be fun at auctions here in few years as they get some use on them.
Yes. The price is about right and reasonable to me. I bought one on local auction for 4175+10% auction fee. I am chinese so I can directly talk to the factories in china. The at gate price is ~3000, should be negotiable to 2500. Plus ocean shipping cost, 25% tarriff, and the cost from the port to your home. It's a good deal if you really have some projects to do with it.
We went to the Intenational Monster Truck Museum in Butler Indiana for their hall of fame weekend.. At the end of the night they always have a fundraiser auction benefiting the museum.. Watched a guy spend a thousand dollars on two fake hundred dollar bills that were used in a ZZ Top music video.. They flew from a monster truck in the video.. Autographed by the driver of the monster truck..
Man, I was hoping you'd get it...I want the exact same thing. I wanted a backhoe for my T654, but they don't make an OEM for it. I'm glad I didn't get one though, because I hate switching seats to do other things. I know there are ways to move them from the backhoe seat, but I'd rather be able to dig, move and push dirt all without getting up. $4k for a mini X would be perfect.
That little excavator is a peice of 😮 I watched one last week trying to climb up the ramps of a trailer I can't remember when I laughed so hard finally it was put in the trailer with a fork lift 😅
I was always told an auction. Don't ever be scared to go over 500 of what you want to pay because that's about what you're gonna have to go over. I think if you'd could have got 4500 that would have been reasonable I think five thousand would have been my max though
Your smart to stick to your limit.Especially a chinese pc of equipment.Youd be better to by one of the older pcs you do will it starts on.I never seen an aution where they offer you a duplicate item for the same price.Always thought each item went one at a time.Got to be careful at any auction.
my company has thousands of macks i don't see or hear of transmission problems but wiring harnesses for some of the older trucks are definitely problematic
Dont buy one of those diggers, there terrible. Look out for an older kubota, yannmar or takuchi. Nice 3 cyclinder dsl and great machines. Them cheap diggers wont be cheap in the long run
Well...with all respect, if you use it everyday for business, I get that. But not everyone can afford $30,000. For $5,000--$8,000, something you use around a small homestead/farm 10 times a year, they're better then busting your back. I'm 65, I know! Mine is 6 years old and has never let me down. I take very good care of it, keep it clean and never let it sit outside unused. It's paid for itself, I have no complaints.
@@j.w.3345 im not saying pay 30k for a new machine. Im saying buy and older secondhand brand name. My kubota i sold last year was 2002 with 2400hrs, was perfect and sold for €7500 with 3 buckets. It was a 1.7ton kx41.2s. We have 13 ton maches and mini digger wasnt used much. Before it we had a 1992 kh41 which had 4k hours on it. Never any trouble with either of them
@@terrytate6006 yes i do actually, friend bought one and drove it for a day. Its a waste of money. Better with an older but mechanically sound machine.
You and Mike Morgan from outdoor with the Morgans must be mind readers lol. 2 Chinese escavator videos on the same day. You where not lying saying they are good for youtube content
I would be really careful buying a mini Chinese excavator at a auction All I can say is try finding replacement parts for this unit you may try groundhog equipment
Never been to an auction, not interested in going to one, I can't understand what the auctioneer is saying because he always talks mile a minute. I might go for an online auction where prices and bids are easy to see and raise a bid, though.
The red basin is a parts washer. It sits on a drum which holds the cleanser
Enjoyed you showing us the auction.
Those excavators appear very handy, from what i have seen.

I agree, it is good to have friends with money. Good point.
I want to see you get Wiley on the mini-excavator😂😂😂. I remember when T posts were less than $2 each.

Chinese excavators are the best quality because I tried and it was better than kubota and yanmar excavator

You can order them direct and it's cheaper!!
Can I ask you where this auction is? Is there a website where I can see what products are available first? thank you.
Good video Hank I enjoyed it thanks for taking us along

Auction content is great. I feel like it’s pretty easy to make too. 🤷🏼♂️

You can buy those mini ex online for around $3500 to $4000 new
Yeah but they charge you 15 grand in shipping fees according to other youtubers who tried it 😂😂
