I have always been under the impression that the only time you " reformat" a card is when the card was used on another machine ( camera ) in this case. Due to the fact that some cards will not work correctly if at all once formatted or used in another machine ie: camera. Thus the need to reformat. Otherwise, if I am wrong. Why would you format (re) a card, provided you were able to delete current photos prior to producing " taking" new photos?
@CAJUNNSC If you simply delete the photos, either one by one or all at once, you risk card corruption. It's a small risk but I've lost an entire set of vacation photos this way. Came back home and got a "memory card corrupt" message. Found out later that if you "format" each time instead of "delete all", you're safer. It wasn't with a d90 that I had this trouble, but in practice it's easier to format anyway.

I am locked out of auto on my Nikon D90. Don`t know what button I hit to cause that. How do I unlock it? I am new to these cameras and photography.
I press both reset buttons and I see no "F" in the window at all. It just blinks and that's it.
I would like to know where to get the snap-on screen protector like you have for my D90 and D7500.
pro trick: you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

You should have read the title, and you'd know what to expect. It says "TWO BUTTONS".
thanx!!!!
@zotols
I was thinking just the same, haha!
you sound like Dave Mustaine explaining cameras :D
LOL
Blinking Green Light of Death. Neither of these solutions did anything, in fact they didn't work at all.
Hehe, what's the problem, guys? :) Just shoot with "Auto" mode)
