Telangana Congress Leaders Revanth Reddy , Uttam Kuamr Reddy , DK Aruna ,jaipal reddy, komatireddy venkat reddy, rajagopal reddy komatireddy, geetha reddy , jana reddy, ponnam prabhakar, ponnala lakshmaiah will participating with Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad at 2.30 pm. He will then proceed to Classic Convention Centre in Shamshabad where he will have an interaction with members of Women Self Help Groups from 3 pm to 4 pm. He will then leave for Sherlingampally where he will address a public meeting between 5.30 pm to 7 pm. The Congress party will do night halt in Hotel Haritha Plaza.
The next day (August 14), Rahul Gandhi will have a teleconference with Booth Committee Presidents from 9 am to 9.30 am at Haritha Plaza He will also have a meeting with senior leaders. The AICC Chief will have an interaction with Editors from 10.30-11.30 am. At 12 noon, he will address a meeting with industrialists in Hotel Taj Krishna. At 3.30 pm, he will visit Gun Park and pay floral tributes to Telangana Martyrs at Amaraveerula Stupam. He will also be meeting students and youth before addressing a public meeting at Saroornagar Stadium from 5 pm to 6.15 pm.
After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi will leave for the airport and take a regular flight to Delhi at 7.30 pm. (NSS)

Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Hyderabad this week will focus on interactions with select groups, opinion makers and students, instead of public meetings. Speaking about Rahul’s visit to the state capital on August 13 and 14, Telangana Congress leaders said this is the party’s new strategy in the run up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
AICC president Rahul Gandhi is all set to kick-start his party’s poll campaign in Telangana on Monday, months ahead of the election notification, as the elaborate programmes chalked out by the State Congress leadership indicates.
Over 14 months after Mr. Gandhi addressed a largely-attended public meeting on June 1 last year in Sangareddy, his two-day visit to the city and parts of Ranga Reddy district is seen as a clear attempt to enthuse the partymen to get into the poll mode and carry the momentum till the elections.
Going by the series of programmes finalised by TPCC, Mr. Gandhi would interact with select self help group members, industrialists and students, besides addressing a public meeting in Serilingampally constituency. The party, which suffered debacle in the twin cities and neighbouring Ranga Reddy district in the 2014 general elections, is now seems to be focussed on wooing the voters from Andhra/Rayalaseema regions of Andhra Pradesh settled in several parts of the State capital. Mr. Gandhi’s segment-specific interaction is also a strategy to make inroads into these sections, which could influence the outcome of the next polls.
“Instead of going for huge public meetings or rallies, this time the Congress is focussing on getting closer to select groups where a precise message can be given,’’ Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said. On his last visit to Telangana in 2017, Rahul had addressed a big public meeting at Sangareddy town.
