At the heart of the old city’s mazelike alleys is Durbar Square, which becomes frenetic during Indra Jatra, a religious festival featuring masked dances. Many of the city's historic sites were damaged or destroyed by a 2015 earthquake. Durbar Square's palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and Kasthamandap, a wooden Hindu temple, are being rebuilt.

Btw how on Earth did you get a permit for flying the drone? Or you've done it without any registration/permits?
In that case how you've managed not to be catched and fined by police ? If locals (or guides especially) see a drone flying they immediately try to inform the police or at least ask you (sometimes pretty aggressively) whether you have PERMIT or not...
