You'll never hear me say coldplay has good basslines due to how basic, repetitive, and boring they are. Seriously every coldplay song I've tried playing on bass has bored me while playing, because it's literally 3 notes in total played over and over and over again. Great cover though, just needed to say it.
Sometimes playing bass is all about holding down the rhythm section and just keeping things tight. That doesn't always mean you're playing something super interesting but it is still fun, in my opinion.
@@INeverWanted2010 I prefer basslines with variety, ones that require tons of hand and finger movement. Love playing basslines by Rush, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Iron Maiden especially. If it's just one note then I'm immediately bored.
Yeahhhh I know what you mean. I just started playing and while I love this song, it’s not a fun bassline to do. It’s good for beginners and for learning rhythm though so I’m still playing along haha
Super easy song for any beginner ❤. We all started somewhere!

Cool... This song was my first one to learn too. It's pretty easy to get started.
Same for me, the first and Liquido Narcotic for the second learned.
