Kim Yonja is a living legend in SK, she was the best trot singer in the 1980s and she paved the way for Korean singers to achieve success in Japan before BoA did. She even sung in the 2002 WC and in NK before that. The fact that leading kpop groups such as BTS, EXO, Twice, Red Velvet, Momoland, Oh my Girl, BtoB among others accepted to be the backup dancers to her is an understatement to what she means to the korean music industry.
This stage brings a smile to my face because it reminds me of the past when idols could have fun and interact with eachother, I hope it could be like that once again.
