- The documentary Otavalos enables us to discover the KICHWA indigenous population, which lives in the mountainous region of the northern part of Ecuador, in South America.
With magnificent landscapes of the Andes as a backdrop, we will explore the biggest market of indigenous artisanal products in all of South America, located in Otavalo; the capital of the Kichwa in the northern part of Ecuador.
By way of this documentary, we experience the day to day lives of these native people; through their ceremonies, their music and their spirituality.
I have great respect for the indigenous people of Ecuador, they all are hard-working people
What?
Thanks for sharing great video!
The Kichwa are an ancient peoples.. they have lived in Ecuador and S America for more than 15 000 years!!! I love them with all my heart and soul and am moving to Ecuador next year near Saraguro another Kichwa village.. Feliz Navidad 2018

please say indigenas cloth, we are not celebrating your halloween, when children wear costumes, play tricks, and walk from house to house in order to get candy.
Why does the narrator call their traditional clothing "costumes?" A costume is what one wears to imitate how something or someone looks.
