I can't find it but I read something about the lyrics contrasting between the two of them in a competitive sense..which explains the chess game they were playing
It's like a competition or comparison betweeen the sweet , respectful male interaction that always comes with a consent "if you're ready" , "if you let me " which is jungkook's side ..plus we see girls during Jk's part dancing in a bold and expressive way with a lot of freedom that you can sense from their moves and facial expressions
And the more fuckboy typa vibe that gets a lot of girls and is more shallow while talking about them which is Jack's side..however here..we see girls during his part the opposite of during jungkook's.. standing in a row with no expressions and no moves like dolls

This song reminds me of two people who have met online 2D and are getting involved online and through videos etc but then it comes time for them to meet up in person 3D so see if that sexual chemistry is there. I see nothing wrong with this song. I have heard worse songs then this, I just think people are shocked that it is JK singing this song. If it was all Jack Harlow or if it was someone else no one would have an issue. People need to remember that this is what JK wanted. He would not have recorded it if he didnt like it

The alternate version of this song is amazing but it seems more like a ballad because of jks sweet crystal vocals. It didn't have the freaky vibe that this one gives lol. I love both versions though.

im really happy Jungkook is doing what he wants, he is a grown man and is allowed to sing about what he wants. He has been in the industry for over a decade and they are finally releasing solos... which is crazy to think about. He's such a superstar and he does not miss lol. I think i might like this a bit more than Seven. And familia, while he isn’t in the writing credits for Seven and 3D, he is still approving the lyrics lol… it’s his song after all.

JK has been my bias for a very long time and I love him a lot and do prefer the alternative version 💜 However, there are misogynistic undertones and the fetishization of asian of
women which have deep colonial and orientalist roots with implications on Jack's part. There's literally a whole line of women and none of them are even asian. As armies, we have a right to support Jungkook, but also a right to not sacrifice our self-respect at the cost of anything. The same way BTS and JK would do the same. (They unfollowed a load of people on twitter). If JK fully understands and endorses these ideas, then that is something JK will be challenged on, the same way he would challenge armies when his self respect is on the line. It's good to have these conversations as respecting women and surrounding yourself with those who do is the sexiest thing 💜

Love your Hanboks. You both look great wearing them. I love the beat & vibe of 3D. 3D’s musical beat, sound & range complimented JK’s vocal creativity & abilities. To me, JK’s verses, even though adult content, were expressed in such a way that was fun, tempting & flirty. JH’s verses, even if he was singing in 1st person and his rapping & flow was ok didn’t seem to fit the overall connotation of the song. We must stream the official version to be counted because streaming the Alternate version will not go toward count. JK deserves our support. We must remember he chose the song & is spreading his wings in uncharted territory during his Solo projects as a BTS member.
