John identified homosexuality as a sin--along with numerous others like adultery, lying, etc.--that separate humans from God. Christians should not expect non-Christians to follow Biblical teachings, since they don't proclaim to be followers of Christ (much like non-Muslims shouldn'tbe expected to follow the teachings of the Quran). The main issue is people who proclaim to be "Christians" who don't follow the teachings in the Bible--whether that's homosexuality, theft, adultery, or any others.
So many great points in this brave message... my two favorite are (I'm paraphrasing) God is the creator so he creates the rules around that which he creates and that your sexuality should not define you as a person, it is not (or should not be) your identity. I remember hearing Jordan Peterson saying that as well and it blew my mind because that is so true and well said.

Pastor John did a great job "being the mailman", and teaching us all to do the same. I was born to two alcoholics and both of their parents and grandparents were alcoholics. At 10 years old at my dad's 2nd wedding I was in a peach tux on the bar serving and drinking screwdrivers (vodka and orange juice). I struggled hard with drinking, but due to the grace of God have been sober for 12 years. I know what you mean about being predisposed. I thought it was normal to have a beer in your hand whenever you were driving your car, boat, or operating power tools and guns until I became an adult and saw how other people lived and realized how insane my family was. My mom married an atheist, and was unequally yoked and he teased us about church, hated God and always lived in fear and worried about everything. It was an abusive childhood. I no longer speak to those original worldly parents.
God gives us redemption and can turn anything the devil intends for evil, good. Thank God he saved us who choose him. Praying that you're able to help others who are in a similar situation to yours and help change the trajectory of their lives for God's glory. 🙏 bless you ❤

Unsure if you actually listened to Pastor Johns sermon, his message isn’t God is anti-gay but rather God is anti-SIN. Culture is allowing for the sin of homosexuality to be normalized and ok in the eyes of the world even though this is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. Pastor John is bringing to light that society/culture are legalizing biblical sin and in essence those who do not object to the legalization of biblical sin that they fear man more than they fear God. I pray the next time you watch this sermon that God opens your heart and mind to the message being delivered and that you read Gods word to better understand Gods message.

Military Appreciation month is May and absolutely is for ALL service members still serving or veterans. It is also a month to celebrate the fallen as well. We have Veteran's Day. We have Memorial Day. Saying vets are not appreciated is a blatant lie to your vets v LGBTQ federal days. It is also quite prideful and thus a sin. Many states are pushing and passing bills that ALLOW Christians to refuse service to LGBTQ. Which is wrong, especially in the medical career field. The issue with your thinking and faith is that it demands you and all mankind to submit. But you only care about rights for Christians under your God. But we have freedom here in America and THANKFULLY. They are allowed to live their lives and pursue their happiness. Culture is allowing for the sin of homosexuality to be normalized and ok in the eyes of the world even though this is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. Pastor John is bringing to light that society/culture are legalizing biblical sin and in essence those who do not object to the legalization of biblical sin that they fear man more than they fear God. I pray the next time you watch this sermon that God opens your heart and mind to the message being delivered and that you read Gods word to better understand Gods message.

Military Appreciation month is May and absolutely is for ALL service members still serving or veterans. It is also a month to celebrate the fallen as well.
We have Veteran's Day.
We have Memorial Day.
Saying vets are not appreciated is a blatant lie to your vets v LGBTQ federal days. It is also quite prideful and thus a sin.
Many states are pushing and passing bills that ALLOW Christians to refuse service to LGBTQ. Which is wrong, especially in the medical career field.
I could be wrong, but I think you celebrate the Illegal acts to destroy the Satanic imagery in the Iowa state building that received LAWFUL approval.
The issue with your thinking and faith is that it demands you and all mankind to submit.
Yet we live in a free nation here in America where you actively teach to turn against "sin" AND would absolutely approve non-hetero marriages be outlawed again. Which infringes on the rights of all.
But you only care about rights for Christians under your God.
But we have freedom here in America and THANKFULLY. They are allowed to live their lives and pursue their happiness.
Yes, I do agree that your faith demands such acts of relationships be condemned. Anyone Chrsitian who teaches otherwise would be heretical.
I'm not gonna argue Biblical dogma with you... but that 12-step Dogma you spit out is a total crock.
An addict/alcoholic is not a different kind of person, born without the capacity for self-control.
It's a person who has unresolved trauma, for which the first thing they found that helped, was the substance.
I'm walking proof of concept.
As someone has had trauma, there is a way to manage it without indulgence. We are accountable for all of our sin, and that isn’t a crock. It’s the Word of God
@@WarriorPoetSociety I'm not suggesting it's a healthy coping mechanism. Just that the 12-Step idea of what it is, mistakes the symptom for the illness, and has a whole host of unhelpful orthodoxy. I'm all for defeating addiction, but in order to do so, we must properly identify the problem.
