Before you buy this for 700 the Antec Core HS is selling for 500 dollars. & this is the North American rebrand of the Aya Neo slide. if you bought that & if you ran the lossless scaling app, every single pc game that you own or any game you downloaded from gamepass would run at 120 fps or more. None of these devices offer any substantive battery life, except the steam deck which under powered like a pc Nintendo switch & the Alley X which costs 800 dollars.
So you are posting this video in October 2024 but talking about issues experienced when it launched. Currently many of the performance issues are fixed with latest drivers, the new overboost mode and not to mention the console is now sub 400 Euro. That is amazing value, plus if you purchase Lossless Scaling you can get most games running at upwards of 100FPS. @ITB_News October? Video post date is 7th of September 2024. Software fixes will happen of course, but hardware stays regardless, and so do bumper issues and other things. @ITB_News well it's a portable PC, this is why many expect it to perform like a laptop at least, and it can when powered properly. However, my take on all handhelds in this segment is that they are still early in it's life cycle to power through AAA games well which will be improved with new processors and mobile GPUs in the near future. Also handheld market is taking weird turn, people buy these to play computer or console game from bed or while sitting on a throne, so it seems portability is not a concern to them as they are plugged into the wall all the time. At least this is the impression I get from comments under my videos about handhelds. For ROG ALLY, it has better size, so easier for travel, but doesn't perform any better that Claw, unless you compare it to Ally X, that thing is different.
@@RomanDoes not totally! A small console is much more practical and fun to hold than a big laptop, especially when you're lying in bed or on the sofa! And you connect to the egpu with a long Thunderbolt 4 cable that's right next to it!
