Kuya Ricky and Ate Erika, now that Jio moves a lot, I suggest that you can try avoiding these accidents to happen by baby proofing your house. Put a baby gate going to your kitchen or maybe put baby locks on shelves that he can reach, put silicon tapes on the sharp edges of your furniture, etc. You try searching online about baby proofing the house. This is very inevitable especially with babies from 1-2 years old. They love to move around a lot and they are very curious. I can't invalidate how you feel about his accident but use it as a motivation to improve baby security in your house. At least nothing worse happened to him. Prayers for your family po ❤️

Tama ka kabayan,ako din simula ng nagkaanak ako, may tatlong anak puro lalaki, lahat ng gamit sa bahay na dilikado na bagay or babasagin tinago ko lahat,para iwas disgrasya. Nagkasugat nalang sila nong nakalabas ng bahay takbo takbo sa bakuran,palaging gasgas tuhod.

Mga bata kasi talagang tutuk ka nyan dahil grabe yan sila ka smart at curiosity kung anong nakikita nila,kaya ilang seconds or minute bantayan talaga. Relate
They said when you have a toddler you need an extra eye on your back! Meaning always aware and keep an eye to the baby all the time because this is the age where they extra more curious to anything. ❤

This could just be one of those. Boys are boys. They really need closer watch than girls. Kung minsan, kahit anong bantay mo, konting malingat ka lang, hayun na, nadapa na or nauntog na. Part of their growing up, basta huag lang grabe. Maghanda ka na lang, Erica, ng first aid na gamot lagi, bandaid, etc. Good job, Gio. You cried just a little. Brave boy.

I can tell he is a strong and brave boy. Protecting our kids is required for the parents to do. But being over protected is not good either. Kids will learn from their mistakes and experiences when they reach that age that they already understand it.

He’s such a brave boy. That is sometimes part of growing up especially for boys. Just need to keep an eye on him. It’s nobody’s fault. Thank God. His angel is surely protecting him. ❤

Jio is now in an active years and he adventurous stage. Thank God He is in control. Parang walang nagyari balik pa rin sa ngiti at tawa si JIO He is full of joy.
Actually it's normal for his age to move around discover things, mas matakot ka pag hindi sya ganyan kasi may mga stages na dapat pagdaan ang mga bata, talagang dapat lang we make sure na safe ang surroundings nila. Nkakatakot lang din talaga pag nakita mong may dugo sa part ng katawan ng anak mo lalo na sa ulo madugong part yan pag nasugatan pero dont worry ksi ang skull naman ntin ay strong and may fluid din sa loob ng skull natin to safeguard our brain, unless otherwise yung accident na nangyari is malakas yung impact but still you need to be vigilant sa surrounding ng mga toddler kasi experimenting period nila yan eh, I suggest read STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT para hindi ka matakot sa kilos ni Jio kasi normal lang sa age nya yan, ingat kayo palagi ❤
Pls do child proofing your house..and keep sharp objects hidden,lock the cabinets and cannot be reach by the little ones..Guardian angel of Jio..bless, guard and keep him safe always..get well soon Jio.Buti po di malalim ang sugat..lesson learned.

Oh no!!!! Poor baby. Thank goodness he’s ok and no stitches but med glue. Jio’s one resilient baby he is smiling in the end while he heals in the days ahead. Both parents kept it cool and got his needed emergency doctor’s care. Take care you all. Big air hugs. Big sis is there for Gio too.

I have a son myself so I do understand your worries especially at this age/ stage. Boys love to climb, bounce on the bed/sofa and running around just to name a few but they get better as they learn their boundaries and get older. Well done Jio for being brave and also to you Erica and Ricky for being calm in a must have been very very scary moment.

You don’t need to blame yourself , accidents happens . Jio is more adventurous , he is a boy and more than terrible two . Just be cautious in every movement of adorable Jio. Medical bond , it will just go off by itself . Praying for your soonest healing . It’s better to bit a little rather than it just buldge , problem is more prone for the baby.

Anyway ,my suggestion ,as a mother of 3boys i experienced kids accidents also, like Jio, so i have a suggestion Ricky & Erica if you don't mind, While you're working house hold chores baby Jio should be place in a Safety Playpen to stop roam around, Keep safe your kids not only Jio & Dana's playing toys, Ok! i know your very supportive husband & wife to your kids & family, God bless your family even more!!!***

No parents wished for their kids to have accidents so we should not blamed ourselves. Unfortunately, no matter how protective we are it does happen. We evolved as parents, stronger instincts and grew eyes behind our backs, left right and centre.
There is a fine balance of keeping our kids safe and becoming overprotective, curtailing their adventurous side and childhood experiences.
Invest in child proofing your house especially in their active days so they can enjoy playing safe and will also make you at ease and able to do what you need to do in the house😊. You both are doing great job to Dana and Jio.😊
Boys are boys. They, as any children his age explore and curious on a lot of things. Even if the pile of household chores are in there, that can wait. Your pool is also dangerous so be very mindful of your kids. Hope he gets well and I know it’s hard for Erica and Ricky. God bless your family❤❤❤

You are fantastic parents your not the only one it happens to a lot of children who come into A&E it just takes a split second for something to happen , we use surgical glue on wounds now it is painless for children instead of giving them stitches. Love you guys love watching your content ❤️😘

It’s a learning curve for the both of you, Ricky and Erica, your children are uniquely different from each other. If you’re used Dana to be well behaved, you’ll gonna be 5x alert when it comes to Jio. As you said Erica, he’s an active and explorer kid. Iba din kasi ang energy ng mga batang lalaki. Tama din yun ibang nasa comsec, baby proof your home. And always remind Jio his incident so that he will not repeat opening the shelf cabinet.
Ganyan talaga ang buhay magulang. Don’t be too harsh on yourselves, ok? May mga aksidente na kahit anong ingat, mangyayari at mangyayari pa din.
toddlers move a lot esp.boys ,they climb up and down,they jump,run, sprint,roll etc... all eyes ka dapat sa kaniya hyper masyado na pag ganyang edad.may eldest is a boy ganyan din kaya wala akong ibang magawa pag awake sya noong toddler stage kasi dapat totok kahit ano aabutin gagalawin.

I’m so sorry this happened but it came out well I understand but don’t blame ur self u didn’t know MANY MANY Blessings a from North Texas ❤
My son also had an accident in school, he bumped his head on a pillar, luckily no stitches were made. My son was very active he had lots of accidents. My youngest son escaped from his grandma and out thru the gate they caught him just in time before he crossed the street omg. It is really a challenge having toddlers at home so you really need to watch the child 24/7
Thank god the wound was not deep and thank also for the new technology. He is so sweet boy and brave. He has an angel.❤❤❤

I am so relieved that Gio is doing ok now. I can't imagine how traumatic Gio's accident was to both of you. I remember when my son was just 3 years old, he placed his forefinger in the hole of the socket and almost got electrocuted, another time when he was five, instead of using the steps of the stairs, he climbed upstairs using the sides of our stairs and I had to calmly tell him to come down for him not to fakk, and the most traumatic was when he climbed our window's jalousies. This goes to prove that boys are very different from girls because they are more adventurous. Ricky is right that we should always watch our children, not to leave them by themselves, and always be cautious because we never know what type of curiosity they have in mind which might put them to dangerous situations. I think they should also be reminded of the consequences if they are not careful so that they are aware of what they did wrong so that they will not repeat being careless again. Thank God that Gio is safe.
Ricky is precisely 100% correct. Baby Jio is a boy, he will be more physically active than his sister and prefers more challenging activities. No parents are perfect, we learn as we go through the process of parenting. The head will bleed more than any part of the body. Guilt is also a part of parenting, it helps parents to be align with what’s the appropriate steps in becoming more successful loving, caring individuals👍🥰❤️‼️

Thank God it wasn't to serious but things like that will happen no matter how safe the house is. I had 4 boys they had broken arm,leg stitches on their finger when they were young coz they are boys. Boys will be boys and now they are all grown men and have their own family and happy with their lives.
