It clearly said on screen - *Birmingham, England 1919* therefore it's clearly not set in the 1800s. *Mr Zhang's Dry Cleaners* (which is also used for another side-business) = *Dalton Mills, Keighley, Bradford.* *Railway Station* = *Keighley Railway Station, Keighley, Bradford.* Just 2 of the 17 Peaky Blinders TV series locations in *Bradford* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film* (with one or two more to come in the film). *JK Rowling* got a lot of her ideas for *Harry Potter* from *Monty Python's Flying Circus* scenes which were filmed in *Leeds* and *Bradford.* Three of those things are in the *Science Fiction Sketch* with *Harold Potter* (Harry Potter), the *Mr and Mrs Brainsample* (Mr and Mrs Dursley) introduction, and the *Bradford City AFC* fan at *Valley Parade Stadium* (Claret and Amber colours = Gryffindor colours). Most of the *Harry Potter* (apart from Daniel and Emma) cast have filmed in *Bradford* too, largely at the same *Bradford* locations as *Peaky Blinders,* a couple of which were filming again this year in Ralph Fiennes and Jim Broadbent. There's also a strong possibility that *Tom Felton* was filming here around the same time, however I've only seen a single photograph with just 2 of the actors filming here.

@@SinisterSouthernbelleReactions I'm hoping to save up the money to get a complete 1920's wardrobe and then take the ocean liner (not cruise ship) Queen Elizabeth II from New York to the U.K. (Ocean liners are built for rougher water than cruise ships.) We need to bring back 1910's through 1920's men's fashion.
(I hate modern business and formal wear.)
I completely agree on this
