its some "law" that I forgot the names... in Japan, there's this law : if you and the other person is more than 3 steps away in family tree, then you can marry them. for example : -----------------Grandpa - Grandma ----------------- Father - Mather Father2 - Mother2 (You) (Cousin) From you -> Father/Mother (1) -> Grandpa/Grandma (2) -> Father/Mother2 (3) -> Cousin (4) Since its more than 3 steps, you can marry your cousin.
