@McBreezyCTF that didn't bother me in the slightest. I don't expect actors to know shit but their script lol. I wouldn't expect knowledge of lore to be necessary of acting unless the actor is playing an already existing character that they should have researched for the roll. It may have been a bad sign if a writer or producer said it, but an actor? Just a silly mistake to make fun of. Not really a refection of the shows content, even if after the fact the show did suck lol
It's going to be tricky to bring season two to the same level of satisfying ending as season one if it ends at the opening of Rogue One. Maybe that moment will be a post-credit scene of a fully climaxed season two story.
Mine would be the TIE Avenger, which should be given a triumphant flight against the Rebels if not the Imperials (in case it gets stolen). Hope it won't be a hype disappointment not unlike how the TIE Defender and especially the X-Wing in Rebels.
I can hardly wait for the second season of Andor to be released. For me, Andor represents the absolute pinnacle of the Star Wars universe. Once it’s out, I’m planning an epic binge-watching weekend with friends: the best lightsaber duels from Episodes 1-3, Andor Seasons 1 and 2, Rogue One, and then the classic Episodes 4-6. After that, I’ll consider my journey through Star Wars complete. I’ve simply outgrown the franchise. Being more at home in the realm of classic dystopian hardcore sci-fi literature, the fantasy elements of Star Wars no longer hold the same appeal for me. That said, Rogue One and Andor were revitalizing highlights, bringing a much-needed darker, dystopian tone to the universe (and yes, the wordplay of “dark” and “(high)light” is intentional). However, as long as Disney continues to gear Star Wars content primarily towards a younger audience and fan service (which is still the case despite Andor) I'm afraid I can hold little interest. It's not that targeting younger / new fans is a bad thing; it's just disappointing that there are no other planned projects aside from Andor that take a more mature, grounded and appropriately dystopian narrative approach to a fictional world that is incessantly victimized by a merciless monster of bureaucracy and oppression. Until that changes, the magic of Star Wars has simply worn off for me. (I'm not going to mention the lack of narrative quality in the other Star Wars projects, as that would paint an even more negative picture.)
I like the grounded stuff too, but I would hardly say the younger audience is something new to the franchise. Do you remember Ewok Adventures, Ewok cartoons, Droid cartoons, Jar-Jar Binks, Yippee Anakin? Googoo gaga alien talk from the special editions/prequels?
@@johnb2422 As I've said before, there's absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to produce Star Wars content for a (very) young audience. I mean, I was born in 1973 and absolutely loved _The Clone Wars,_ especially as it matured over time. Even _Rebels_ had its moments, and the _Bad Batch_ episodes just dealing with the fate of the clone troopers are just brilliant. But after nearly 50 years of Star Wars, it's disheartening that Disney is still so focused on attracting new very young fans and only really keeping teenage fans engaged while leaving the older ones behind. The youngest fans from the early days are now in their mid-50s, yet Disney seems to view _Rogue One_ as an unintentional glitch and _Andor_ as the unwanted stepchild of the series. Meanwhile, the new movies (often) feel like bad remakes, and aside from _Andor,_ the new series suffer from weak scripts, absurd dialog and a lack of substantive content over the course of their seasons. Anything that feels more adult and coherent seems to be a rare exception - something that just happened to slip through the “kid-friendly for ages 6 and up” filter. That's not fair! Not to the Star Wars legacy, not to the fans over 30 or 40, and not even to the new fans who will be facing the same frustrations in 15 to 30 years. Star Wars deserves better!
I absolutely cannot wait for this season.
I CANT WAIT.
Same
After season 2 ends Im watching Rogue One for the 19th time and its going to hit so much harder with the additional context.
Cant wait!!!
The name of the film is "Rogue One." "Rouge" is a kind of cosmetic.
Honestly haven’t been this excited for a SW project since Mandalorian
I was excited for The Acolyte up until it actually happened 🤣
@ I was excited for the acolyte too, up until an actor said Anakin destroyed the Death Star.

I wish we had one more season instead of just 2
It would be awesome if they add the year bby with every time jump, with a growing intensity towards rogue one and the importance of the mission
Best thing Disney has done with Star Wars by far
Absolute comeback, Absolute cinema.
I love that countdown thing, ominous.
It definitely tightens up the senses of what is happening and the foregon conclusion of what will happen. Very suspenseful, very good!

Where is K2 bruh I miss that droid 😭😭
Don't worry, I'll be there for you. Cassian said I had to
i cant wait to see this show, but yall gotta start spelling rogue properly, instead of "rouge"
Stop hating on rouge one
💀
So hyped
For Christ’s sake Disney. Its 5 BBY not BBY 5! This is not hard!
"Rouge One"
When does it air? I cant wait

22 April, 2025.... long wait
I hope he finds his sister
I guess the last three episodes will be set in 0 BBY then...
I think it would be cool if they showed ending of battle of yavin from andor characters perspective
They wont because almost all the characters would be dead.
S2 CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH
You should do a video of a lost of things you are excited for in Andor

Thrawn could appear?
i doubt it, the only connection thrawn has to yavin is through the rebels of star wars rebels, it wouldnt make sense to show him in this show
He won’t
Nope, this show doesn't do key jingling cameos
@@ZenMonkeyGodI mean there are a few cameos BUUUUUT they actually make sense, like Yularen and Scarif.
It would be too much of a cheap Filoni trick....
