ARE YOU ALL SHARPWIN SHIPPERS DEAD LIKE ME??? I was a bit disappointed they shut the door right in our faces not gonna lie BUT after i rewatched the whole scene a thousand times and I started editing this video my madness kind of vanished. I think the last scenes between them were just beyond perfect and both Ryan and Freema were fantastic. I fell in love with the song they played the second it started playing so obviously I had to vid them to it. I promise I'll be back soon with a new video with a different song because I know I'll want to vid them again and again and again until season 4 begins or we get a trailer of the season lol

Yes he did admire her in the very beginning even when he was married. It was subliminal at first but you knew something was up , he didn't know he was in love with two women in my view.

This was a terrific vid, I'm glad that's Helen is a strong and capable person so well played by Freema Agyeman. Max/Helen's relationship is built on strength, challenging each other yet supportive. And there's a fragility and protectiveness for both which has been well guarded for 3 seasons. We knew their admiration and love for one another were always there just waiting for the right moment. Can't wait for the upcoming seasons of NA!

Hey thanks so much for the video. I’ve watched it so many times. It’s so inspiring to me. Max & Helen’s journey, their chemistry, obvious attraction, intensely deep and palpable love has inspired me to renew the intimacy in my marriage. Our 21st anniversary is next week and for many reasons the love and especially the intimacy has been so stale, so contrived. My emotional connection to this complicated TV couple has reminded me of how much I need and want the love and intimacy in my marriage. As cliche as it is, a park inside of me has been kindled. I feel a renewed interest and longing for my husband. I’m grateful to the creators of the show, the chemistry between these extremely talented actors and again to you for this beautiful video. Thank you!

Thanks, Juli, for posting this video. I was absolutely stunned and left speechless by the Max and Helen segment of this season's finale. Ryan and Freema's performance was phenomenal and the ending was breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone involved in the production of this season's finale must be riding on cloud nine right now. What a genuinely talented, hardworking group of individuals they are. Needless to say, Luke Sital-Singh's song "Honest Man" was a perfect fit.
For those of us who know how to use our imaginations, watching that door close at the end was thrilling beyond belief. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. That ending was well worth the wait. I have rewatched this episode more times than I am willing to admit, and I rarely rewatch anything.
Comment from the Executive Producer Peter Horton: In fact, you can credit Agyeman for the final product of that scene. “I said to Freema, ‘You close the door when you feel you should, just feel it out and see what you think,'” Horton shares. “And so first take, Max runs in there and the steady cam’s following him in and right as he goes in for the kiss, she just slams the door, and we all looked at each other and said, ‘We don’t need anything else. That was perfect."👍

I'M IN for Sharpwin, completely-but this is the most anxiety-provoking romantic relationship on TV that I have ever seen. I guess we worry about those things that we love the most and that give us the most joy and happiness. Max and Helen's chemistry is so incredibly beautiful that just watching and listening to them when they are together seems to make the world a better place to live in. Okay, now I am excited for them in every way. I just want them to be happy and steer clear of the drama.

@@batistabatista2443 Yes. You are right. Max was instantly attracted to Helen and love quickly followed. Their chemistry is amazing. I believe Fate (Destiny) brought Max and Helen together and that they are soulmates and complete each other. I also agree with what you said about guilt. Max is a man with a great deal of character, so we should not be surprised that he felt a sense of guilt about falling in love with Helen. But guilt can be very destructive if we hold onto it for too long.

I wonder if this was planned from the beginning to get together or did they just see the chemistry between them and wrote it in the show
It wasn’t the original plan but when they filmed the pilot and the writers & network execs saw they realized they would have to address the insane chemistry between the characters.
They actually kept Georgia in the show longer than they planned to help stall Sharpwin. They needed a valid reason why Helen & Max weren’t together bc they couldn’t get Ryan & Freema to tone down that kind of chemistry.

@@leticiaborges9713 It was in one of the producer interviews that was posted on Twitter. They did consider putting them together at the end of season 2 after Max had some time to grieve. Helen & Max were supposed to go to an out of town event & sparks would fly when they were away together. But they chose to rewrite it, I think in part because they got renewed through season 5 so they wanted to stretch out the story. They brought Dr. Cassian in at the end of season 2 for a pandemic episode which they decided not to air bc it would’ve been insensitive consider how bad covid was but in the s2 finale Max was suppose to go up on the roof looking for Helen only to witness her & Cassian kissing. It was going to launch a whole jealousy/rivalry arc. It was going to focus on Max always putting patient care first & himself last vs. cassian who put self care first. They decided to scrap that storyline bc so many doctors & nurses in real life were making sacrifices to treat patients with covid.
It took them a while to get there but I’m glad they waited til the end of season 3 to make Sharpwin canon. If the show really only has 5 seasons then I want season 4 to just focus on them being a happy couple with the occasional normal disagreements. And for them to finally close out the IVF storyline and give helen a baby in season 5. No silly breakups or melodrama.
