This is a FUN game. The dice rolling makes you feel like a squad of brawlers instead of individual characters that have no real effect on other character's turn (teamwork built-in). This game is oozing with theme from the rules to the card arts to the abilities. If you are fond of the cartoon and have an inclination for dungeon crawlers you owe it to yourself to experience this game.
I have only played this game solo, but it (along with the Ninja Turtles version) is one of my favorite games. If it is even better in competitive mode, I look forward to trying. I am so glad to see you review this game. I haven't seen it get much attention, so it was nice to see one of my favorite reviewers talk about it. I am even more glad that you enjoyed it.
I believe they're also designed to be cross compatible too, so you could in theory have a scenario with Batman and the turtles trying to rescue Splinter from Ras Al Gul or any other weird combination of things. I'd call that a weird combination, but there is a Batman TMNT crossover movie so...
I love this game. Especially with all the expansions. Just about every character in the series is in the game. You can play the villains also. There are some modified rules where you could play 4 v 4. I loved the TMNT games they did also. Since they are fully compatible you can do a TMNT Batman cross over missions. So many options. Unlimited replay value imo.
I'm a pig farmer just operating outside of the main city and Batman saved my livestock from some thieves that came in the night to steal them. ... .. . ... .. He did it because he was sworn to protect Goth-ham.
I bid on the Kickstarter but later cancelled it. I have the TMNT game. It is fun. IDW is a great company and they were very generous in letting me out of my bid as well as fixing a broken piece for TMNT game.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Thanks! I appreciate the response. I think I narrowed it down to either Batman or Masters. Batman seems to have more scenarios variety, but be more fiddly/rough while MoU seems polished, but perhaps more simple.
IDW Games is defunct. If you can find this game, pick it up because it's not in print. The gaming division of IDW closed up before this kickstarter was delivered.
@@worlddd7777 You'll also have to hope that all of the components in the box are correct as well. The shipment from the Kickstarter was loaded with complaints of missing minis/duplicate minis, missing cards, damaged components, etc. I was fortunate as all that I could find wrong with mine was that The Penguin was missing his cigarette. I managed to get a replacement mini before they stopped all communications with buyers.

Thanks. Happy to help!
Happy to see you review this! IDW also made a TMNT game with essentially the same mechanics and it’s super fun too.
Excellent. Haven’t played that one.

@@mamunestor Fun game.
Loved the show as a kid and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this. I'll have to keep an eye out and see if I can find a copy.
It's a lot of fun. I think if you were a fan of the show you'd appreciate it more. The theme really shines through.
I love the callbacks to the opening title cards of TAS.
Great!
I do have to say I love the artwork, I know you like Batman: Gotham City Strategy Game but what is you favorite Batman game
I'd have to think about that one.

Enchanting.

Yeah. Too bad they're out of the game business now.
How would you rank that one compared to other one vs all?
Which one?
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer other one vs all/many like Star Wars Imperial Assault, or recently Masters of the Universe.
@@timotheedavi6578 it’s good. I think it’s a matter of themez

Great "Dad" joke...!
It’s what I do.
Beware the Batman

Is this game still available for purchase?
I saw it in a store a few days ago, but not sure if it's in print now.
