Great points at the end, I’ve said before I’ll trade all the new Dries releases to have this one back. I have one of those old 3.5ml samples of it but I missed out on getting a bottle. I was fully intending to when I heard of its discontinuation but I waited too long and it suddenly one day I couldn’t find it anywhere. I do hope Frederic will find a way to bring it back!
Thanks! yep, that entire collection was a dud for me, though it had some good perfumers. Felt Rushed. Actually, Rumor is that it's coming back this fall under a different name!
Hello Pradeep, It is indeed comforting but also quite challenging in the opening. It is my signature scent. FYI, a Frédéric Malle's sales assistant told me a few days ago that DVN will be coming back in June 2024. Probably under a different name. I hope that reformulation wont have butchered this masterpiece
Hello Sandra.. yes! had to step back when I first sprayed it, then it was a whirlpool to love. ohhh.. that would be lovely if it came back especially as is! Then I Don't have to baby my bottle and vault my backup😆
What a lovely review! You mentioned Bruno has lost the recipe of this fragrance or I misunderstood? The fragrance sells for silly price second hand these days but I guess it is an interesting future investment as a bottle could go for 500-700 euro one day. What do you think? Greetings...
Hi Viliam, I didn't mean he literally lost the formula. Rather that it is not out there for sale under his name. Yes, it is pretty expensive now. But not sure if it will reach the 4 digit price point like some Creeds (though I like this more). Thanks for watching 😀
@@ScentZatura Hi again after a while, I would like to let you know that I managed to get Dries Van Noten 90ml in box (batch 2013) for 340 euro. I knew the fragrance from before (used to have 2 bottles which I sold one by one in the past) and while it is a nice perfume, I would like to have it sweeter, more sandalwoody.
@@ViliamGajdos Good to know! ya there is more going on here than Sandalwood. Has its own abstract scent profile. I usually get Sandalwood Oils/Attars for full on Sandalwood experience.

Unfortunately hard to find nowadays mate. Ebay, Etsy and other 3rd party sites are the way to go. Hope you find it!
