The difference between tds towers and tdx towers is that tds towers can stand alone and still do good. Tdx has a lot more strategy because different towers compliment eachother in their own ways and they each have their own job. It's not what game's towers are worse, it's more and how you use them

The devs are planning on reworking elite and expert because they’re pretty much just a harder version of easy and intermediate. I would like to say thanks for all the comments, but the reason why I used elite was because I could wanted it to be kind of difficult for the towers. Since I couldn’t use both paths, it would be impossible for quite a few of the towers because in intermediate and expert, they have defence against bullets. Since quite a few towers don’t have it with stealth detection at the same time, I made it so that more towers had a chance. It was also a test of how they do by themselves. I do agree that many towers work better when paired with others, but they also have their own strengths and weaknesses. Thanks again though.
So basically the challenge was rigged in favor of tds also you pick a bad map for tdx, it lable as simple but it should be labeled as hard or normal since it's so small
@ChaoticJester they only changed it to simple cuz barracks were broken but barracks were nerfed so they can't stack on top of each other anymore, so they should make it normal
@ChaoticJester I mean most towers can see the entire path, but most of those towers can easily be stunned since they are most likely placed in the middle of the map, also units from zed and factory will die after about 15 seconds cuz of how small the map is and if they are getting overwhelmed by a hourd than there's not exactly much they can do with those long spawn rates

The matches were unfair, tdx fans including myself thinks that elite is harder than expert, mostly cuz of wave 20 - 27, it's abomination spam, while I managed to solo expert without power ups or rewinds using only armored factory and railgunner or juggernaut, it's better to Compare molton mode from tds to intermediate mode tdx since they are both balanced, easy mode on tdx is way too easy cuz about 75% of towers can beat it and easy on tds can still be a little bit difficult, so it was an unfair match and you need to do it again with tds molton vs tdx intermediate
Elite is most definetely not harder than expert, especially after the expert mode got buffed, since new towers have been released. But I still don't think it is fair to take elite mode from tdx because elite is tricky. Less waves, faster zombie progression but also more income over time (which is what makes it easier than expert). I understand your point on being able to beat expert with just factory and rail/jugg but that doesn't mean there are no easy ways to beat elite.

Ngl I think that this is an unfair comparison due to the fact that the tdx wave structure is harder, so the towers have double paths. A more fair comparison would be to have done cost efficiency and dps tests on every tower to show how they would do based on every td game. Also the fact that you lost with slammer is insane because it can easily solo every wave of elite /tldr/ tdx’s waves are harder and the raw dps and cost efficiency comparison would have been a better test (I yap if you can’t tell)

Ignoring the idea of "whichever tower gets to the further wave is better" we can actually see that TDX towers are MUCH better in terms of DPS and DMG. The starter tower for TDX, Ranger, would already be a beast in TDS since Ranger has 100+ DPS and the highest DPS in TDS these days is around 300 - 400 for 1 singular tower placed. As we get into more towers from TDX the Patrol Boat would be top 5 at least if it was in TDS, having 345 DPS + the burn dmg. I think John is where TDS would cap. I could be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure John (top path) Has 500+ DPS (not including the damage buff) stronger than ANYTHING TDS has to offer. As we get further and further into the TDX towers, this starts turning into a slaughter. Remember I'm basing this off ONE SINGULAR TOWER'S DPS, 1 Accel by itself would do 300+ 1 Ranger would do 100+ 1 John would do 500+ so if we ignore the idea that the video is using to determine which towers are stronger, we see that TDX does in fact have the stronger towers.
I am a Rizz Layer simp, so I'll stand in his defense. Place some of them at the back of the map (near the end) and spam bottom path. Given enough time their mines can tank up to 100k HP.

The way my friend compares towers is by dps. And enemies by their hp. Well obviously tdx won. I told him to balance and average up their hp and dps but he still wouldn't listen. We just that supportive. I'm always depressed when he started bringing that up. Man, when will I ever win against him (in terms of conversation).

Because I’d barely used militant and I used operator so much and it was really good for the majority of things I used it for. I mainly just remembered militant as it was in the past, even though I knew it got a buff.
This is why i prefer tdx, its much harder and you often have to use different towers and paths together in order to get the victory. Tds is much easier and therefore i feel has less strategic depth. In tdx i can create a well thought out defense to cover for my weak points, and be rewarded with a victory. In tds, i can spam minigunner and chain commander, and also be rewarded eith a victory, its just one feels more earnt than the other
This is a really unfair match up if you use common sense you know tdx towers are stronger like put tdx stuff in tds it's ez put tds stuff in tdx(and give it a second path) it would struggle on the easier modes if you tried this again on intermediate on both games or even help tds more and keep meat riding them do molten vs intermediate tdx would ez win
dude this is such a bad comparison, most of these towers are meant to be used with a different loadout for example cryo blaster is better than cryomancer cause cryo blaster can be used in endless and it can do way better of a job at freezing than cryomancer
Trapper, TDS is not the same as Mine Layer in TDX You see Trapper really gets the upper on the HP on its spike which speaks out why is it so effective against early wave enemy. Mine Layer focuses on AOE and DPS and because their trap are so easy to be triggered, they are recommended to put at the back. And also the trap can be stacked, the more time - the more trap you will have. (Mine Layer's trap when stacked can be extremely OP, before railgunner even exist, mine layer is the most used tower to kill the MK ll) - Needs improvement on the comparison Nice try on the video btw

You should of compared tower of what there supposed to do and how good they do it in there own game because tdx is a much more challenging game compared to tds where it requires a lot more strategy meaning you need multiple tower where as tds have a lot less hp with zombie and many with out any resistance and can be killed by any tower spammed enough

A lot of it is because you are playing on elite mode in tdx. You should have done intermediate mode for both

I think you shouldd've shown the farms. For TDX top path farm can give you health, so I was able to just make it to like wave 14 ish before dying

Because I’d barely used militant and I used operator so much and it was really good for the majority of things I used it for. I mainly just remembered militant as it was in the past, even though I knew it got a buff.
Your forgetting that tds is an easy game and tdx is alot harder plus your in a higher difficulty
This is why i prefer tdx, its much harder and you often have to use different towers and paths together in order to get the victory. Tds is much easier and therefore i feel has less strategic depth. In tdx i can create a well thought out defense to cover for my weak points, and be rewarded with a victory. In tds, i can spam minigunner and chain commander, and also be rewarded eith a victory, its just one feels more earnt than the other

This is a really unfair match up if you use common sense you know tdx towers are stronger like put tdx stuff in tds it's ez put tds stuff in tdx(and give it a second path) it would struggle on the easier modes if you tried this again on intermediate on both games or even help tds more and keep meat riding them do molten vs intermediate tdx would ez win

Trapper, TDS is not the same as Mine Layer in TDX
You see Trapper really gets the upper on the HP on its spike which speaks out why is it so effective against early wave enemy.
Mine Layer focuses on AOE and DPS and because their trap are so easy to be triggered, they are recommended to put at the back. And also the trap can be stacked, the more time - the more trap you will have. (Mine Layer's trap when stacked can be extremely OP, before railgunner even exist, mine layer is the most used tower to kill the MK ll)

You should of compared tower of what there supposed to do and how good they do it in there own game because tdx is a much more challenging game compared to tds where it requires a lot more strategy meaning you need multiple tower where as tds have a lot less hp with zombie and many with out any resistance and can be killed by any tower spammed enough
