I heard them in concert (opening for nickelback of all people) in 2009 or '10, and it was actually crazy how much like the album versions of the songs he sounded.I really don't remember him having to reach into his falsetto to hit the notes back then, but maybe this is also due to his constant sickness from 2010-2015... He definitely was better back then =/ but he's still amazing

That's exactly how it sounded at the show from where I was standing (front row). It may have sounded better from the fifteenth row...most concerts do. Having said that... Ben was also pitchy in places, Dude.

Shaun is an awesome drummer but this was when he had just joined i think. Not weird to be a little stiff when playing with a new band. Still think he played well though. But nowadays he plays much more relaxed with them! Watch them live from 2018 and forward
+Andy Gamer1337 Are you comparing a song made in a sound studio vs. the same song at a live concert? Apples and Oranges. Even if you're not...using the word "horrible" is harsh and an over exaggeration. They sound excellent in concert!
Strongly disagree. I think it sounds beyond incredible, better than most singers. Keep in mind this will sound better in person cause reflections and other distortions are picked up through the camera mic which distorts the actual live sound

Ben was NEVER fat! He gained some weight years ago but he was not fat. Plus this is old, he's been lost the weight and he looks tone and muscular now.
