    The world needs to hear this. More so, the Christian world needs to hear this. So they can tell the world what they so desperately need to hear.

    We pursue what’s fleeting…the money, the popularity, being the one who everyone talks about, making our parents proud…
    How much more important is it to find eternal life? Peace of mind and contentment? This comes to those who knock at His door, asking for Him to draw near.
    Glory be to God, His Spirit who transforms us from the inside out. His Spirit changed my life and gave me a peace of mind I no longer crave. Glory be to Jesus❤️

    How much time spent reading the Bible gives sufficient evidence that one is a true Christian? How much obedience? How do you REALLY know when you’ve truly SOLD OUT? You say there’s nothing we do to earn favor with God, yet all you seem to point to is the level of our “personal relationship” with Him, our affections, our obedience, our disciplines. While there is much here I agree with, there is a clear bend towards pietism, and the seeming accusation that if someone’s faith isn’t lived out to the level of yours, if they haven’t had the experience that you’ve had, then they are not a true Christian.

    • @dirt481
      @dirt481 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it’s between you and god, all he was trying to say was read your scriptures.

    • @GhoulishParagon
      @GhoulishParagon หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why hate him for his faith. "He who is without sin shall cast the first stone." He shall be judged as will the rest of us. Why does a message meant to bring others to God offend you? To lead is to be an example of right and wrong, all Granger is trying to do is lead. Don't sit on your couch doing nothing and be a critic.

    • @bowed305
      @bowed305 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I guess I didn't hear the same message as you. While he did liken being a true Christian to being a true elk hunter, which means a true Christian would be actively pursuing being a Christian just like a true elk hunter would be out there hunting, I don't hear him saying you do all those things listed to prove that you're a true Christian. Instead, you do all of those thing because you've first become a true Christian, and those things listed are the natural by products of pursuing God and pursuing Christ. The faith comes first, and then after that the other things naturally follow.

    • @GhoulishParagon
      @GhoulishParagon หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bowed305 just having Jesus in your heart does not make you a disciple nor does it come naturally. The message I heard was the believer that doesn't know Jesus. I think he was saying search for Jesus and read the Bible for nothing we do is worthy of God's grace.

    • @calmouritsen5868
      @calmouritsen5868 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GhoulishParagon Hate is a strong word, which I do not have towards him. Additionally, your statement that I’m just sitting on my couch doing nothing is false. This is precisely the mentality that is perpetuated within American Christianity: Do more, work out your salvation harder, prove yourself, don’t you love Jesus? Having not known the first thing about me, you quickly assume I am someone who “does nothing” when it comes to living out the faith.
