Great video smackdown here comes the pain had a lot of great matches in Features than alot of Modern wrestling games will never have again like B&P match and many more back when wrestling games had more soul

dont forget the dragging back when button mashing enough in submissions
Diving ladder finishers and reaching for a rope break in submissions was definitely a good idea
Aew Fight Forever is proof that they say one thing but in the end they want another, the game is an old school classic that gets boring after a month, it was fun at the time
Idk about getting boring after just a month but I agree with what you’re saying bro. Yukes basically tried to ride that HCTP style of game again and it failed miserably
If they frequently updated the game and added things like match types. The game would've been better than 2k, AEW FIGHT FOREVER's gameplay is miles ahead of 2k. They just didn't even support the game at all.

Some of these changes are intended. They're trying to look more like show. Those over the top moves and explosions on cars and several other animations just don't happen in the show.

The only thing these new games got is Graphics and more moves, but no soul!
Instead of lumberjack u could have easily said "alot more gimmick match" because it also has 3 stage of hell bra and panties hardcore and more that i am probably forgetting

Wwe 2k24 is just not a good wrestling game to me the gameplay plays more like a fighting game then a true wrestling game
