Situated at the altitude of 4440 metres, the post office in Hikim is said to be the World's Highest Post Office. I visited this Hikkim village in May 2017 during my Spiti trip. 2nd you must be post a letter form that post office to ur home/ resident.
Bhai i am Junior engineer in department of posts. This is a rented building. We take such buildings on rent in order to give services to people. As no bank can even think in their dreams to give financial services to people in such places. Post offices are their only financial institution for financial services and communication.
