I remember when I used to watch Doraemon as a kid & the characters talked about buying CoroCoro comics.. I never thought they were actually real 💀
Yeah, just like there's Jump manga where they talk about reading Jump. I think that's pretty funny.
Definitely it would be interesting to see unboxings of other manga magazine (different target demographic, publishers, etc.) and how they are comparing to WSJ. And looking at tv tropes page for "Manga Demographics" there is a lot of to choose and compare, like there are demographics that most people know eg Shoujo and Seinen but there are also things like Gekiga, Seijin and Mina also categories like "Silver" and "Golden", it could be funny to see how manga magazine for older people looks like.
Also I think looking at ads here, CoroCoro is targeted towards kids that are boys.
Yeah, there might be some Kodomo-muke magazines more targeted towards girls, that focus on Sanrio stuff and things like that, I should look it up.

Did you Know, Corocoro Comic Had Two Sister Magazines Aimed at Older Audience,
• *Comic Gotta/Hyper Corocoro* Which is Made for Teenager and Having Almost Realistic Settings Except Few Titles Such Gacha Gacha Ebiru-Kun
• *CoroCoro Aniki* Which is Made for Older Teenagers Despite Having The Same Cartoonish Art-Style of the Normal Corocoro Comics for Children They also Promoted Some Merchandising of men-sized T-shirts and shoes.
Both of these Sister Magazines Sadly, are Discontinued on Imprint Version but Continued on Online/Digital Version

I’d love to see videos on Margaret, Magazine, Sunday, Dessert, V-Jump, Young Jump, Big Comic Spirits, etc. Might have to get one of them soon.😊 Got an issue of Sunday with Komi on the cover recently. So much fun.😄
I don't think anyone watching this probably is the target audience, but that's part of the fun.
I definitely want to grow a manga magazine collection, and I might keep doing these unboxing videos. They flop, but they are fun to record.

At the ten minute mark and I can’t believe that the among us and Fortnite thing in the title weren’t clickbait 💀 you should’ve gone all in and added Roblox too while you were at it. I personally did find the Roblox thing strange at first but when I think about it, it’s the most popular website game so I really shouldn’t have been surprised. Also Fortnite makes sense since they have already done a bunch of collaborations with other shonen jump titles. Finally, there are so many ads holy hell 😭 I never would have thought magazines could have 10 pages of ads. Although, to be fair, they are pretty easy to ignore; but still…😅😅😅😂
Edit: (excuse my profanity) THERES A FCKING MINECRAFT MANGA!?!?!?! Wtf 😳😱🤯 I can’t believe I didn’t know this existed, the more you know…also I agree with you about the Kirby eyes, I much prefer the og ones. OMG THEY HAVE SPIDER-MAN IN THE FORTNITE MANGA 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
This magazine is essentially just an entire ad, even the manga in it are mostly ads for toys and games, lol. But that's part of the charm in a way, I feel.
@@MangaCrash now that you mention it, that’s kinda true. Although like you mentioned there is probably some charm to it, the only problem being I can’t read Japanese 😭

I heard コロコロ is good for learning and practicing Japanese for newbs as well because it is made for kids
5:29 is Mini 4WD toy brand by Tamiya. It's incredibly popular in several Asian countries.
I live in Indonesia, and Mini4WD is everywhere back in 1990's and 2000's. The toys, anime, manga... everyone knows them, even casuals. These days, the community still exist but in much smaller scale, which mainly people in 30's. They regularly do competition (both racing and customizing) for kids and all age.
I still have several volumes of these manga, like Let's & Go! by Koshita Tetsuhiro and Mini 4WD Fighter V by Aoki Takao.
All serialized on Coro Coro Comics, obviously :)
That's really interesting to know. At least in Portugal I don't think I've ever heard about them. So it's a pretty old series then!
