Roy Monroy it’s funny, to me the snare sounds Way to thudy. Not enough snare and tuned low haha. It just shows you everyone has their own preference. It’s a good thing God only hears the heart of the one lifting up praise and the drums anyway Blessings:)
@@J.zahidgomez37 I often write out the lyrics and the parts for each section on a sheet of paper so I don't spend too much of my brain on remembering the parts 😂
Count it out. If you know where each hit lands by your count you'll always know where you are. It becomes robotic. Just count out loud while you practice, that's all.
I need to work on being able to play that hi hat with my left and add fills like that with my right though! I always end up reaching through my right with my left to hit the toms. Sick!
It’s got a trigger on it that’s sent to a computer that has a preselected sound on it. Then the actual snare and the trigger sound are mixed together. In fact, all the drums have them on it.
I would say they have a second mix just for the in ears, they would have a click/tracks as an input but only to the in ear desk, meaning that it isn't heard through front of house
Well they have 18 Campuses and I know at their main ballentyne broadcast location there is at least 4 drummers on rotation there so must be over 20 drummers all together.

Take this comment as a: That snare sound is perfect
Don’t it though!!!
@Garrett A actually, we only use the triggers as sidechained gates😬
@@TylerCarino I'd love it we could have a look at that process tho... I'll just patiently wait hahah

Haha triggers my friend.
The cool thing about this is that you know he has the skill to add so much more, BUT he's playing what the song needs.
that's what a drummer should be, controlling the urges of doing freestyles. being a good drummer is easy, being a humble drummer can be difficult.
@@WesleyDechavez realest thing I’ve heard in a while💯.
@@WesleyDechavez Preach👌
@@WesleyDechavez real worship for God !
Bro that audio engineer is killing it! Same with that drummers feel and pocket... nasty
Goosebumps! I love seeing drummers who worship when they play. So beautiful
And that’s a wrap on my drumming career

When u have to play this song for the first time in church and came to this video to learn. Then lost all your confidence🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂 that’s me
Facts thats me
You got this bro!
Break it down into nuances and parts ,every part that sounds complex has a very simple pattern in the beginning at least that’s what I try to do 👍🏼

Dude that pocket is EVERYTHING!! 🙌🏾 🕊✨🌎🎼🎶🎵🥁
I never knew it was possible to make K hi hats sound even better, but that little ching ring really adds something extra
Nice open hand playing! Really helps allow for a solid Tom pattern throughout the song.
That open hand works wonders for this song
oh, my God! Thank you for that. The drums make a big difference on the song. You can clearly feel God through this. 🙏
Drums are the biggest part of any song drums basically MAKE the a song
its been said but - that snare - wow nice!!
Kit mix on point, killer chops and flow, much respect mate... \m/
The way this guy plays the drums is spiritually very moving. Blesses me every time. Hallelujah and thank you 🙏

Solid pocket! Goodness-- that's musicianship
Less is more! Simple but well done👏👏👏👏
The Dom's Standard of Quality... With all the Hand resources available to use
That snare is point.. I love the groove
Probably one of the most atypical drum parts
Bro, thank you so much, I have an audition at my church this Saturday and this video came to be very handy. God bless you

Nice drum triggers!
They’re just for gates. That’s how the drums sound.
yea, they use it to open gates so it cleans up the mix by alot

I always wonder how you guys always get such a great snare sound....i use a tune bot but man that is a killer snare sound.
It’s got a trigger on it that’s sent to a computer that has a preselected sound on it. Then the actual snare and the trigger sound are mixed together. In fact, all the drums have them on it.
The triggers are just used for gates actually.
I want this very version on TH-cam!!
Wish my set sounded that good.
Was that a late D note on bass at 4:23?
🔥🔥🔥❤️
🖤🖤🖤
Please put the drum set specs in the description. Please and thank you!
Isn't that Israel Houghton?
Hi elevation.
Great content as usual.
How do you sync the metronome to all band players?
Thanks!
I would say they have a second mix just for the in ears, they would have a click/tracks as an input but only to the in ear desk, meaning that it isn't heard through front of house
What is that Zildjian ride cymbal?
What’s the change key shots on the last part of the song called?
Modulation?
Thank you for that but what i’m tryin to point here is the change key shots they do on the end of songs
Oh wow he plays arms open. Idk how to call it
What program is used for the click track please?
How many drummers are there in Elevation?😮🎶🙌
I think they mentioned 20 once in a video... Not 100% sure
Well they have 18 Campuses and I know at their main ballentyne broadcast location there is at least 4 drummers on rotation there so must be over 20 drummers all together.
Anyone has any idea which drum mics these guys use ?
@gabrielguedes - Tudo possível
whats ride cymbal?
Time to practice riding hi-hat left handed :3
How much of the snare sound is the actual snare and how much is the trigger?
The trigger is just a gate. Thats 100% of the live snare off the Monitor desk.
@@TylerCarino Phenomenal!
cymbal setup?
what snare it's?
9/10 chance it’s a ludwig black beauty
Yes, it is
Can you share the keys part for this version?
they have, i believe it's on this channel

Ok, why did the MD have to remind them what song it was😂
What is the Time signature
6/8 I think I’m just reading the top left corner
Why does it say 122 bpm
because it's at 122 bpm
Why y’all gotta leave out the best part tho? Lol
which part?
@@StormyNoodle when they do the gospel type beat at the end. Or the reprise of the song I should say
