I didn’t get in to the ‘groove ‘ of this song, but his writing is poetic. I will keep it real and say that his triple speed rapping was impressive. I liked that little critique from George and thought that Logic could have been a little bit creative when he gets into those sequences or shorten the build-up. I see some of these kids making music reaction/dissection videos and as soon as one of the mumble rappers start "rapping" fast or the beat changes up they'll be like "OHHHH SHIT! HE GOIN IN!! MJS12488 Logic says he has anxiety a million times, like in the song "Paradise" he says "My minds racing a million milles a minute" and as someone who has anxiety and has freestyled I understand the feeling when your mind is racing too fast (sometimes it's out of your control) the same words keep popping up. My friend has ADHD and I've noticed that he uses the same words to rhyme but as long as you work on it and catch yourself you get more comfortable. If your talking about the hook then I think he just personally felt what he wrote but I mean alot of people like repetitive hooks not me tho.

Okay, I came to your channel from the Metal Reactions. I was looking for a live clip of Meshuggah's Bleed to watch the drummer, who is a god damn machine, and you guys featured that tune, and I thought the reaction was spot on, although you did stop the song before the main breakdown ;) I'll let it slide, though, I mean, that song/band is pretty insane. That said, I have to say, I really dig this. Holy shit, this dude raps so fast, so rhythmically, it's insane. And you're right, I can tell what he's saying, the enunciation is so clear and his rhyme schemes are crazy. You call things FIRE, I'd call this METAL. Also, coming from the perspective of a guy with a degree in music theory, I think it's sad we didn't extend our studies into the 20th century enough to get into hip hop, rap or R&B. We covered African American spirituals and even early Blues, but that was it. Hip-hop-wise, I've been content to listen to Jay-Z, NWA, maybe Eminem at times (I mean, he can flow, right?), which are good, but it's not digging very deep. There are a few local hip hop artists I like (Atmosphere, Doomtree, Heiruspecs) but I've never really explored much beyond these. Thanks so much for the open mindedness you two embody towards other styles. I think I'll have to return the favor. Consider me subscribed, and keep up the good work! Cheers

With that said, I haven't really seen any 90s alt rock yet though, which IMO is a very under-appreciated and largely forgotten genre of music. You should give Round Here by Counting Crows a whirl, one of the greatest songs of the decade by one of the more underrated bands in recent memory. Adam Duritz is a world class songwriter and the raw emotion of his voice is almost palpable. Would be super interested to see what yall thought of them.
Had I listened to this song before I joined Free Thinker Nation, I would have been wowed by the flow and thought it was a masterpiece. I have been instructed, however, and whilst I'm still impressed with Logic's flow, being exposed to other rappers with equal flow and better lyrical content, I respect Logic but, like many have said, I just wish he could match that flow with substantial lyricism. Okay, I came to your channel from the Metal Reactions. I was looking for a live clip of Meshuggah's Bleed to watch the drummer, who is a god damn machine, and you guys featured that tune, and I thought the reaction was spot on, although you did stop the song before the main breakdown ;) I'll let it slide, though, I mean, that song/band is pretty insane.
That said, I have to say, I really dig this. Holy shit, this dude raps so fast, so rhythmically, it's insane. And you're right, I can tell what he's saying, the enunciation is so clear and his rhyme schemes are crazy. You call things FIRE, I'd call this METAL.
Also, coming from the perspective of a guy with a degree in music theory, I think it's sad we didn't extend our studies into the 20th century enough to get into hip hop, rap or R&B. We covered African American spirituals and even early Blues, but that was it. Hip-hop-wise, I've been content to listen to Jay-Z, NWA, maybe Eminem at times (I mean, he can flow, right?), which are good, but it's not digging very deep. There are a few local hip hop artists I like (Atmosphere, Doomtree, Heiruspecs) but I've never really explored much beyond these.
Thanks so much for the open mindedness you two embody towards other styles. I think I'll have to return the favor. Consider me subscribed, and keep up the good work!

Hey guys, I love how yall have a total openness to any genre, that's really cool. With that said, I haven't really seen any 90s alt rock yet though, which IMO is a very under-appreciated and largely forgotten genre of music. You should give Round Here by Counting Crows a whirl, one of the greatest songs of the decade by one of the more underrated bands in recent memory. Adam Duritz is a world class songwriter and the raw emotion of his voice is almost palpable. Would be super interested to see what yall thought of them.

Had I listened to this song before I joined Free Thinker Nation, I would have been wowed by the flow and thought it was a masterpiece. I have been instructed, however, and whilst I'm still impressed with Logic's flow, being exposed to other rappers with equal flow and better lyrical content, I respect Logic but, like many have said, I just wish he could match that flow with substantial lyricism.
