- The #UFC returns following a weekend off to digest the memorable #UFC300 event, but #BKFC's Knucklemania 4 will likely get top billing in the interest department this weekend, most notably due to Mike Perry's return to the ring against Thiago Alves.
On an all-new edition of Between the Links, the panel discusses both cards this weekend, the UFC headliner between Matheus Nicolau and Alex Perez, Perry's star power and future in BKFC, along with Ben Rothwell vs. Todd Duffee. And btw Garcia basically knocked Haney out in the 7-th round. At best, if you wanna stretch reality, it wasw 10-6 round for Garcia with 3 clear knockdowns. Garcia definitely should move up to 147 though.

Brian was so terrible in this episode it's impressive.
Ryan was hurting devin every time he landed anything on him, devin is not a much better boxer than ryan like Brian thinks (10 times better lol ) , he is a the more technical boxer that's true, but ryan is the much more gifted boxer physically (he is faster, and hit harder). And both have suspected chin.
So in a way they are relatively on the same level as boxers, devin is just very overrated he has zero ko power he isn't particularly fast and his chin isn't the best his recovery after being hury on the other hand is pretty good tho, also he should have lost to lomachenko......
Ryan should go ahead and fight Teofimo lopez a nother overrated fighter of the same generation with a big name, Ryan will have the speed and power advantage in that fight too but will be technically disadvantaged again.
I always thought ryan, devin and lopez where all on the same level and could beat each other, but aren't on the level of tank or Shakur.
If only naoya was naturally a big guy him vs tank would have been great....

although i appreciate you standing up for ariel and sure buckley didnt get his point across to well but there is a reason why we have boxing hour/wwe hour in the last few weeks there is a reason why eddie hearn appears more than most fighters in his shows there is a reason why many fighters not only ali dudes wont speak to ariel we had like 2 weeks ago a preview show on the nose which was 40 minutes of wwe talk yeah there is a reason for all of this and buckley isnt wrong with his assesment
Na Ariel has a good show and fighters cry about what he does but fighters go on that show still. A lot of fighters like Ariel also It’s a played out narrative that Ariel is a snake blah blah blah. Yet Ariel gets most engagement out of any mma show There is a reason for that.

I think Joaquins apperance was a perfect reason why MMA fighters are nervous to go on Ariels show. He stirrs up stuff to fit a narrative. 100% on everything.

I agree and rarely watch the wwe hour these days. Boxing, as another combat sport is much more appropriate for the show than WWE, Darts, premiere league. No prob with the boxing.

Good show today. Most sports are better on TV. No problem with an apex card once a month as the UFC roster expands ...they are using the apex to breed and introduce next generation of UFC stars- makes all the sense in the world. Not too long ago we were introduced to fighters like topuria and driccus at the apex. It's all good.

How can professional journalists not just look at the information out there and see Ryan made millions betting on himself to win and he could only do that because he made himself look so off it pre fight. You’re paid to do this job all 3 of you and you can’t even see that?
Brian take on ryan garcia was hot garbage, the guy who had the best analysis on the ryan garcia fight so far is teddy atlas.
Teddy atlas analysis of that fight is very educative Interms of the technicalities of boxing but also the psychology of fighters from a guy in teddy atlas who's been in the sport for 50 years, so he knows what he is talking about.
Ryan wasn't trolling it was real lol he even contradicted himself after saying he was trolling he also said he was drinking alcohol every day before the fight, of course now that he won he is going to be good mentally for a moment but he will act crazy in the future.
Ryan is like tony ferguson or Diego Sanchez you can't take anything they say seriously.

BC couldnt be anymore wrong when it comes to his Garcia/Haney take. Haney 10x the boxer than Garcia, is that a joke? They went 3-3 in the amateurs, and 1-0 in the pros. Garcia wasnt trolling and, but used it as an element of surprise... Bill Haney said from the beginning they weren't falling for Ryan's antics and knew he wasn't crazy. If Ryan did in fact bet the 2mil on himself then it's pretty clear why he pulled all the social media rants and acts, he cashed out on himself. A fight that would normally be +200/300 turned in to +600 and +1100 for a decision win. Both Haney and Ryan did not come out as superstars after Saturday, Haney has been gettting clowned on left and right, just like Bill, and that's not even taking into account the "and still" celebration..

When, during the post fight press conference, Garcia quoted Hamlet, "I thought meet, to put on an antic disposition." Then I was sure he has a sustainable approach to training and fight prep....still, he did fight great.
MMAFightingonSBN and Morning Kombat both horrifically overrate Mike Perry.

Garcia vs Haney at the right weight is an even better fight. They both got skills, Haney beat himself the same way Ryan did vs Tank was too sucked out before it started.
What was the point of the troll job? Well, you say Haney didn't try to kill Garcia and Garcia is just a better boxer... But this is something you can say only AFTER the fight, don't you? Maybe Garcia honestly believed - like 99% of the rest of boxing wizzards - that Haney is that much better and he needs to resort to some sort of a psychological warfare?
