Your tour of your camper brought home an early childhood memory of mine with my very first childhood friend, two doors down from me and her dad owned a camper trailer- to us it was our dollhouse LOL- but when ever her dad would go places instead of us sitting in the cab we would ride in the camper up in the bed area looking out the front window 🪟- that was sixty one years ago and yes we are still friends 🧡 ty ty ty ❤❤❤❤

My family farm in the Kouga Baviaans mountains with and indigenous tea called Cyclopia intermedia or more commonly known as Honeybush tea. The farm lies inside the greater Baviaans Wilderness are that is a World heritage sight and by all means 4x4 terrain. They use a Ford F250 4x4 truck exactly like yours to transport the tea down from the mountain every week. A beast in its own right that has made dreams come true. Who would have told you the day you left your van and your whole life behind because of covid, that it would take a few years to come back to it and you would do it from a different perspective, living a new completely different life, being settled in Italy, owning property and having a beautiful daughter plus another baby on the way? You will always remember all the good times that you had during your travels. My late husband and I had lots of trailers and campers and motor homes and we loved them all. Wonderful memories. I am now 88 and don’t go very far now, but that is OK since I have been to so many wonderful places. Enjoy your lives with your sweet children. ❤

Ciao ragazzi! I remember coming across your channel back in 2019 when I was researching everything I could find about Italy because I was moving to Firenze in 2020. So, I have been a subscriber for at least 5 years. These last couple of videos have been a nice flashback to the beginning of my favorite TH-cam couple and now family. You encouraged me to follow my dreams of moving to Italy even though I have many difficulties from a spinal cord injury from 2017. It has been wonderful to follow you guys through all of your changes, challenges, and new beginnings. I now live in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily and still hope to meet you in person one day. we had an old 60s camper that we used with our children every summer for about 20 years. It has sat for about 8 years without any use and yet I opened the cupboards and the dishes are all still where I kept them the bandaids the matches tin etc all still untouched by all those years! It’s sad because I miss those years when our 8 kids were little now they all have their own families and lives but the memories are all in my mind and pictures. I wish we had youtube back then to film all those trips. The few videos we made with vhs we’ve converted to computer files which brings us all so much joy! Love your videos and love the memories of travel they spark in my mind at 61 years old!

Now that I have had the long awaited Lucky Lew tour, it is time for me to watch your earlier vlogs from start to finish. This history and Lucky Lew will always be a part of your DNA. Maybe one day when your children are older you can do another adventure. I live in the USA and I knew a family that took a year off and loaded up into their RV and traveled the USA. Their kids were 13 & 10. Dreams can change and evolve and maybe one day, living minimally in a beach town will be in the cards. ❤
When we would temporarily leave everything and wander it was on a small boat (cabin cruiser) filled children as we explored rivers, their towns and histories, and lakes attached to rivers. We bought our first boat 50 years ago. Last week at 73 and 74 we took our last river adventure. Today we are loading the boat on the trailer and will sell hopefully to a young family starting out on their adventures next year. We are sad to say goodbye to the boat and adventures although we will still be adventurous just in more age appropriate venues. Often in life we do not know the last time we are doing things. It’s bittersweet when we do know and your last time in camper and beast is one of those times.
I have an "old school" F250 4X4 that is like a family member to me and I realize yours had some wonderful memories but don't forget your Land Rover. It is a very practical truck for your olive orchard. If you put a small cargo trailer behind it then you will have a lot of cargo capacity and maneuverability. It already is in Italy and it would be very economical to maintain for many years to come.
... 🙏Sometimes, before a new life is beginning, we are forced to say farewell to something/or someone else that we love... Over the years this is what I observed in many cases... So you did very well in saying goodbye to your beloved camper Lucky Leaw, but of course preserving all your precious memories... Ok guys. I watched all the videos lol. You left out some details. Like how many tires blew out from mikes and heavy load? How long it took to fix engine between the Panama transfer into Columbia and how you had trouble even getting it from the docks lol. Yes Leaw got you from Alaska to Ushuaia but it was from the sheer will and determination of Luca and Sara for that specific truck to carry them. the real story is not the truck but willpower of two stubborn Italians. Add up the dollars this trip cost in money and time and the donation effort and Aldo storing it and I think for $2,000. The problem could have disappeared? But that is not the integrity or ethics of Luca And Sara and that is priceless. It’s why I have watched since Tulum Mexico.

we had an old 60s camper that we used with our children every summer for about 20 years. It has sat for about 8 years without any use and yet I opened the cupboards and the dishes are all still where I kept them the bandaids the matches tin etc all still untouched by all those years! It’s sad because I miss those years when our 8 kids were little now they all have their own families and lives but the memories are all in my mind and pictures. I wish we had youtube back then to film all those trips. The few videos we made with vhs we’ve converted to computer files which brings us all so much joy! Love your videos and love the memories of travel they spark in my mind at 61 years old!
I'm wondering if it's possible to keep track of Lucky Leaw 👀 At least let next owner know they have been blessed with a legacy and christened in Love 💕

So many beautiful memories! What a great experience to share with your children when they are older. They will see so much love mommy and daddy had and still have for one another when watching these videos. ❤

Maybe one day when your children are older you can do another adventure. I live in the USA and I knew a family that took a year off and loaded up into their RV and traveled the USA. Their kids were 13 & 10. Dreams can change and evolve and maybe one day, living minimally in a beach town will be in the cards. ❤
When we would temporarily leave everything and wander it was on a small boat (cabin cruiser) filled children as we explored rivers, their towns and histories, and lakes attached to rivers. We bought our first boat 50 years ago. Last week at 73 and 74 we took our last river adventure. Today we are loading the boat on the trailer and will sell hopefully to a young family starting out on their adventures next year. We are sad to say goodbye to the boat and adventures although we will still be adventurous just in more age appropriate venues. Often in life we do not know the last time we are doing things. It’s bittersweet when we do know and your last time in camper and beast is one of those times.
I have an "old school" F250 4X4 that is like a family member to me and I realize yours had some wonderful memories but don't forget your Land Rover. It is a very practical truck for your olive orchard. If you put a small cargo trailer behind it then you will have a lot of cargo capacity and maneuverability. It already is in Italy and it would be very economical to maintain for many years to come.

So you did very well in saying goodbye to your beloved camper Lucky Leaw, but of course preserving all your precious memories... I am happy for ya'll, that your all are safe, happy, and able to own peace from a huge part of your beginning together! It's bitter sweet. Now to close the chapter and get on with all the adventures ahead with raising two daughter's and living life for Luka & Sara.

Ok guys. I watched all the videos lol. You left out some details. Like how many tires blew out from mikes and heavy load? How long it took to fix engine between the Panama transfer into Columbia and how you had trouble even getting it from the docks lol. Yes Leaw got you from Alaska to Ushuaia but it was from the sheer will and determination of Luca and Sara for that specific truck to carry them. the real story is not the truck but willpower of two stubborn Italians. Add up the dollars this trip cost in money and time and the donation effort and Aldo storing it and I think for $2,000. The problem could have disappeared? But that is not the integrity or ethics of Luca And Sara and that is priceless. It’s why I have watched since Tulum Mexico.

Just a thought….so few times in life do we recognize the endings in our life such as the last time we see a friend or the last time we visit a special place. Good morning, Truly an interesting tour of your amazing home on wheels . Hopefully, the next owners will enjoy it , too . I am certain it will not be the same for them. It was an extraordinary experience which could never be duplicated. Capturing the moments on video can't allow you to revisit younger days. The reality is, will you be able to have time for that in your busy future & stay fully rested? Brings to mind the famous 007 tune "You Only Live Twice " ...
