@@Dsc1899 Don't be one of those people. There are many positions and techniques developed by bjj that are not in judo or wrestling. The rules of competition make it different. Going belly down in wrestling and judo is counter-productive in bjj since pinning is not a way to win.
@@Spiritof_76 Realistically, almost every move from BJJ is already in Judo because BJJ originates from Judo. You're right though that some moves aren't practiced as much due to the rules of Judo.
People still do the hips WAY back thing all the time and probably always will as long as guard pulling is allowed. Or maybe even then, watch enough Judo and Sambo and you still see people pull away just not to the comical looking extreme BJJ people do, most of the time at least.
This may be good counter against JJB but...This is not change the reality : the last time judo japanase competitor fight JJB in japan, judo lose. The truth is just heure, that is all 😊

There should be no doubt that judo has the edge on bjj in stand up. The best jiu-jitsu includes judo and wrestling.
the best jiu jitsu is judo and wrestling

I don't know. Jiu-jitsu stand up has gotten much better. Jiu jitsu guys don't stand like that anymore.
meh
Not better enough to just out grapple in the standup though.

When it comes to Brazil, pretty much all the good jiu-jitsu guys have practiced judo already
