I did wonder that. Either as a journal page or chopped up as little embellishments perhaps. Glad you liked them. Ta for watching and leaving me a comment. Hugs C xx
Yes, it definitely helped didn't it. I really had a ball attempting that grid collage. I'll work a little bigger next time though....lol. Thanks so much for watching, Sandie. Big hugs C xx Ps. RSVP confirmation email on its way to you.
I really enjoyed watching you change it up a bit, the end result looks fabulous ... and the different posting time was a great way to start my day, thank you.
Hi Sis, glad you liked this one. Definitely nice to have a change. As for the posting time... well, I thought I'd keep you on your toes...lol. BIG hugs C xx
I loved your tutorial! I am just getting into doing grid collages and I like limiting your palette and colors creating these fun, cohesive little gems. Thank you so much for your inspiring video! My favorite element of your collages were the postage stamps you used. They are so much fun to add. I have a box of them and I can't wait to get them out to use them again!
Hi Linda, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed having a go at that grid collage. It's such fun and adds another dimension to collaging. I haven't, as yet, had chance to have another go at it (too busy dong MM's #2024CW challenge) but I definitely will do. Stamps are the PERFECT pieces to use on any collage I find. They add such a great pop of colour and can help make the collage cohesive....... I love using them. Have fun and thanks so much for watching. Hugs C xx
I must find a way to insert these technical terms into my daily conversations. 😅 I remember having the 2 videos in one day and assumed you had fallen behind, but *this* extra video can be our guilty pleasure. This way of collaging is also new to me, and it’s delightful. Thanks for the lagniappe, Carol. ❤
Ha ha.... priceless Trish. I really had a ball doing the grid collage. Perhaps bigger ones next time. Lagniappe was a new word to me too. How interesting and one for me to try to work into my conversations in future.....lol. Thanks for sharing. BIG has C xx
Definitely do it Amy.... these were great fun to try and yet again, a learning curve ( or they were for me) trying something a little different. Have fun giving them a try. BIG hugs C xx
Ha ha.... such a fun 'technical word'. Sooo pleased you liked the grid collage. Definitely a lot of fun to try but next time I'll work with bigger boxes in my grid perhaps. Big hugs C xx
Ha ha I think many a crafter can empathise with that. Me too!!!! This is definitely a good way to use some of them up but I'm guessing I'd be at it for years to use up all my scraps.....lol. Hugs C xx
Oh definitely give it a go, it's great fun! I had a ball doing it. One tip might be to work little bigger. I'll be giving it another go in the future but definitely with bigger boxes in my grid. Thanks so much for watching. Big hugs C xx
I enjoyed watching this and yours turned out beautifully. I love the line transfers you have used too, can I ask where to purchase them. It would be interesting to try the same with fabric and stitches too . TFS x
Thanks so much Diane. Definitely GREAT fun to do. The line transfers are washi Print-on stickers ( as they call them but they are more akin to rub-ons). They come from LCN Design Studio (Product code S00047). I purchased mine here in the UK from Miso Paper a while ago now. Look for LIN CHIA NING in the brands drop down on the LHS margin of their home page for currently available stock. Hope that helps Diane. Hugs C xx
Love these! You've reminded me to continuing on with more layers! I do love working with small collages.
It's amazing how many layers it takes sometimes. Have to say I'm fascinated by mini collages myself. Such fun. TFW... Hugs C x
I did enjoy it ❤
What a wonderful project! Those little rectangles would make an excellent addition to any journal. Thank you so very much for sharing. 💕🥰💕

They are lovely Carol, and adding those stamps really made the mini collages pop!

💜💜💜 OMGosh, these came out so great! I’ve seen MM do this but never tried it myself - time for me to make a grid!
Definitely do it Amy.... these were great fun to try and yet again, a learning curve ( or they were for me) trying something a little different. Have fun giving them a try. BIG hugs C xx
I just love the results. Merci Carol! I am pleased you had a technical problem... 😄Bises.
Ha ha, actually so am I. I'd been wanting to try this grid collaging so it was the perfect excuse....lol. Thanks for watching Loulou. Bises C xx
Fantastic job!
Thanks so much Debbie. Thrilled you liked it. Hugs c xx
Excellent - looks so good! Would be happy to see more. And 'numpty' sounds exactly like the sort of word I should use about myself sometimes!

Thanks so much Donna. They were so much fun to do and I'll definitely be giving them another go at some point. Thanks for watching. Hugs C xx
Hello Dear Carol I did enjoyed your collages, I have so much scraps right now. Im kinda going crazy 😅😅
Ha ha I think many a crafter can empathise with that. Me too!!!! This is definitely a good way to use some of them up but I'm guessing I'd be at it for years to use up all my scraps.....lol. Hugs C xx
I really like this Carol. TFS❤
Thanks so much. It's definitely fun to try and actually nice to change it up a bit from my usual collages....lol. BIG hugs C xx
Carol you did a nice job with the grid collage. I thought I would try it sometime but just haven’t made that commitment yet. Hugs🥰
Oh definitely give it a go, it's great fun! I had a ball doing it. One tip might be to work little bigger. I'll be giving it another go in the future but definitely with bigger boxes in my grid. Thanks so much for watching. Big hugs C xx
I can see where a bigger grid would be good. I was thinking 2 x 2 squares.
Definitely that would work. Mine were a bit too small but still fun to try. C xx
