This game had much more potential. The lack of more characters and extra features in the game is some of its downfalls. The soundtrack is exceptional, however.
this game is one of the worst games i have ever played
It had improved a little since transformers revenge of the fallen ds games
Soundtracks were reused from revenge of the fallen ps3
Anything is better than the Revenge of the Fallen Decepticons soundtrack.

How I rank the DS trilogy
1. TF1 best story and characters. Big open worlds and I like the version exclusive maps. So much character customization and each character had personality
2. TF2 Better graphics and decent story. Car selection was decent. If we could play as the main cast in the story section after the main campaign was complete or at least in multiplayer mode, it could have been the best in the trilogy
3. TF3 Graphics were improved, except for Megatron. (I really wish he was in his DOTM truck mode). Nothing to do after game other than multi with 4 characters from each faction and replay levels with version exclusive characters

Megatrons character model always bothered me in TF3 DS not because he's not a truck but because his face kinda looks a Cat.

TF1 = The Game
TF2 = Revenge of the Fallen
TF3 = Dark of the Moon
TF4 = Age of Extinction
TF5 = The Last Knight

It always bothered me how Lockdown just disappears halfway through the game. I guess he just got paid to do a job, and then he left. It would explain why he’s not allowed to know about Shockwave, and why he’s a little more respectful to Starscream.
Wait, this DOTM game featured Starscream's voice actor from TF: Prime? Okay, i'll give this game just +1 for that.

and in the ps3 and xbox 360 version of this game they still kept the starscream voice actor

I like how throughout the three ds games they kept ironhide's character model the same but kept optimus prime's from rotf, and in this game everyone else's changed along with some new characters.
These last games could be the best of the franchise, had the developers learned from past mistakes. The second games pissed me off a little bit as we didn't have a chance to play with the other transformers, instead we always played with the rookie. But these ones, jesus... Boss fights are repetitive, maps are very small, missions aren't fun (just scanning and destroying) and they don't have free play. In my opinion these two games weren't good. Entertaining, sure. But not the kind of games you would keep playing for ages to come.
I couldn't say it better! The third game was a bunch of scrap metal. My punctuation is 10 points the first two games, 7,5 ROTF games and 6,5 points DOTM games. Would you like to see a video of me talking about the Transformers DS games in general giving my opinion? Even if I speak in spanish but with provided english subtitles from me?

Somehow Lockdown in DOTM Sooo look alike to Animated version........
His design here is based on the revenge of the fallen lockdown toy.
We never got to find out what happened at the end of the game when megatron met shockwave and it just ended

Man, the first TF DS game was always the better game out of the three games. I feel like graphics in this game were crapped on after taking a pounding by Devastator and Bruticus

Elio Sejano Hasbro thought the trilogy was going to be it and they included a fan favorite in a game. Then we got TF4 so this can be considered a different lockdown.

What a fall from grace.. the 07 DS games are among the best transformers games and then the sequels just didn’t even try

For some reason Ratchet scares me in this game because he just pops out of nowhere and he informs things that only the Decepticons would know and also why would Optimus want Soundwave to escape that’s a little bit of a head scratcher and sometimes when he doesn’t appear out of nowhere he knows exactly where the Decepticon are and he’s always alone

All the DOTM games are a prequel to the movie but it's safe to say the PlayStation and Xbox versions are the definitive prequels. The DS and Stealth Force versions are in their own world.

I can record the cutscenes but in the DS game there aren't almost any dialogues between the characters. I'm not sure if I will do it, but soon you will have a new video - SPECIAL 500 SUBSCRIBERS!

I really don't like Megatron's voice in this game. It's like they told his voice actor to mix the gravelyness of Hugo Weaving, and that whisper-yelling Frank Welker do for their Megatrons.

They are not in the game because it's for Nintendo DS so don't expect to see every character.

The nds cant handle nearly as much as consoles. That and the devs probably wanted to focus on the console versions more anyways

@moifernam the actual reason for that was because the 3DS was a distant dream so it never really occurred to them.

Pvz2lover's Channel The original trilogy was all the movies were going to be. Hence why all the big decepticons were killed as a big wrap up and done. Hasbro wanted to use lockdown because he is a fan favorite and they used a design from the rotf figure. Since the game is a prequel, the fans can say Lockdown died or went solo before the events of DOTM. Then we got TF4, hence the confusion. Just assume both are different lockdowns
Am not really a fan of how the gsme.just ends. I remember seeing shockwave and was excited to fight him but then we didn't. Makes me think this game takes place before the movie
