Fluffbutts, please DO NOT comment any kind of spoilers regarding future episodes. I am going to be reacting to each episode individually every Tuesday and Thursday so I can carefully take my time enjoying and taking in the show properly with discussions centred on particular episodes. If spoilers are posted, they WILL be deleted as that's no fun for anyone that hasn't watched the show yet. 👌💚
I like how they both contributed to getting out of the cave: Zipp used her investigative skills to find the hole and Pipp using her social media might to summon help. Also the song was so beautiful.
For me, this episode was definitely the most impactful of the 8, the cave scene honestly had me tearing up and things got very sentimental, especially the Portrait Day song! My only complaint being that Pony Love was a staged song and not actually part of the narrative - I was also surprised to see the singer as Haven as I was low-key convinced it was Opaline singing when the sound track was released, lol!
Zipp and Pipp’s song is probably my favorite moment throughout the whole series. I know it’s early, but I just love seeing the pegasisters together. Honestly, this is also my favorite episode of the chapter for that reason.
I'm glad we got to see more of the relationship between Zipp and Pipp, hearing about it from both Queen Haven and the sisters themselves. It's kinda sad to know they were a lot closer before, only to decline over time, and then all but completely break here. And despite the selfish way she went about it, Zipp at least wanted to recapture that bond. It did kind of annoy me how, even though Zipp admitted the search for the flower was just an excuse for her to get out of Portrait Day, she still had the nerve to blame Pipp for getting them trapped in the cave. Besides being too focused on her phone, I don't know what Pipp did wrong here. It just seemed like Zipp was looking to blame anyone but herself.
I really really like those 2 songs. However i recommend hearing their full versions uncut as in this episode. I'm glad that boomers like me can still hear music like country or ballade in MLP and its not just modern pop songs.
2×3 this episode was great, but most of all: Song Queen Haven and also an incredible song by two sisters Pipp end Zipp. My rating 10/10 Like, and thanks for the video.💫
I also really loved this episode. Personally I related to Zipp so much with her not caring about these sorts of things and not liking getting all pampered for them. I did also like seeing her and Pipp getting at each other’s throats a lot, which kinda reminded me of the Sisterhooves Social episode from Friendship is Magic. Though I personally didn’t blame Zipp for getting annoyed, since Pipp constantly stopping to take selfies and add filters to them got on my nerves too. Then the part where they reconcile in the cave was really sweet. They’ve definitely gotten better development in this series than they did in the movie, even if I still find Pipp a bit annoying. I did also enjoy the songs, though I agree that it was stupid how they kept cutting off Queen Haven’s song. Plus the part where Pipp’s fans save her and Zipp was satisfying, and was a much better use of them than the Pippsqueaks Forever episode. (F*ck that episode still) I’d probably have to consider this my current favorite episode of Make Your Mark so far.
My favorite episode of Chapter 2 thus far. It just irks me that the songs have been so short. Even the album version of “Portrait Day” clocks in at barely over a minute.
Not to hate on Opaline (even though it's gonna sound like I do) but it's about time she actually did something instead of relying on Misty (no hate on Misty either).
I agree with you mate, but I will offer to probable reasons why she hasn’t yet, first off, after waiting so long for magic to return to Equestria, after being the very reason it was locked away for so long. Opaline would understandably not want to mess up her chances at taking control of it by giving up the element of surprise until she felt like she had no other choice. Second, given her arrogant personality and her clearly filling the Selfish Queen archetype, she would most likely see it as beneath her station to actually go out and personally deal with Sunny and her friends, she gives orders and others obey them, that is her modus operandi, in her mind, she is a Alicorn, the most powerful and regal creature in the land, therefore you should just automatically adore her, she sees both the admiration and the magical authority that comes with being an Alicorn as her due, but she doesn’t have to give anything back in return, it’s just a case of “I want this, I deserves this, why aren’t I getting this already? It should be mine?” Let’s not forget she’s also just plain crazy from being an power hungry Alicorn whose had barely any power to wield over the last couple of centuries. I highly recommend you look up Silver Quill’s video on Vivacious Villain, a panel he did at a convention about the different archetypes of villains like Opaline, it’s a really great video that’s actually helped me with my writing my villains for my stories.

This is one of my favorites of Chapter 2! And the song is available on the Make Your Mark album but I recommend watching all the episodes first
I may be biased because of my love for Zipp, but this was my favorite episode. Seeing the sisters bonding was wonderful.

I love this Episode so much
I really like this episode. Misty is probably the cutest villain I've ever seen. XD
Love your channel as always! I love the all the songs from this episode.
6:54 "Imagine if Pipp went savage."
If you thought these ponies kicked hard before... !

This episode was so uplifting
This was the best episode for the sisters. Zipp and Pipp should get along more often.
No spoil
@@kneefreedom817 I wasn't spoiling anything.
7:40 Queen Haven: "I call this one, Pony Love."
Why Ms. Haven, are you trying to seduce me?
5:45 "Do they still keep their phones in their butts?"
I hope they don't keep them on vibrate, then!

I love Zipp so much . She is gorgeous 😍😍😘😘
i liked the episode and the songs
Interesting reaction to Pipp and Zipp arguing. LOL.
Just one thing pegasi store stuff underneath thier wings not in thier butts.
How things dont fall out when they take flight is beyond me
My favorite episode of Chapter 2 thus far. It just irks me that the songs have been so short. Even the album version of “Portrait Day” clocks in at barely over a minute.
Yeah, after listening to the album, that’s my only complaint about the songs.
Plot twist Zipp is the real MC all hail Queen Alicorn Zipp
Huh, Zipp got Opaline's attention.
