I want to thank each and every one of you for your patience and support. I'm eager to get back to work and resume our scrapping adventures as soon as possible.
As some of you may know, I recently underwent surgery for arterial disease. Unfortunately, the operation took a toll on my lower back, causing significant discomfort. I'm now focusing on my recovery and working to get my back on track.
Rest assured, Scrapping with Grandpa will be back in action soon! We'll resume creating videos filled with scrapping tips, tricks, and excitement for you all to enjoy.

My wife has had three back surgeries over the years. All three have been very successful. Back surgery has advanced a lot over the years. Research your available surgeons in your area, pray over them, and start trying to find relief through the recent advancements in surgery. Don’t give up. 🙏

I struggled to make that video to be honest and after I made the video I came inside, laid on the couch and cried for 20 minutes for the pain was intense, but I’m still glad I made the video just to keep everybody updated on what’s going on? You are a blessing for me and for my channel. I look forward to many more years of blessings. I love my subscribers every single one of them. I feel like everybody is my friend.

Thanks for the post. I was wondering. Keep moving forward at whatever speed works. Have had several shots in the back and they worked for me. Slow but steady recovery and don't be afraid to ask for help.

i certainly know what cronic back pain my friend as i was born with spina bifida i reckon it,s the worst type of pain
I’m glad you’re here to support me through this, I’ll be back to making videos as soon as I’m able. My goodness you were born with that so I guess you’ve lived with chronic back pain all your life. It’s a terrible thing to have to live with. I’ve only had chronic back pain since 2012 and I feel like that is forever.
Glad to see you up & getting around but please don’t overdue it get your rest & rebuild your strength so that you will be back even stronger

To be honest with you, Charlie I made that video about 11 minutes worth and then I went back and laid on the couch just to lay down and cry for 30 minutes so I’m hoping for healing apparently it’s gonna take a while thank you for being a great supporter and a great friend of mine it’s been a pleasure meeting you and hanging out with you in New Jersey. I hope to do that again one day I look forward to getting back to my normal self and sharing my journey with you and my other great subscribers and friends so many of my subscribers have turned into friends. It’s just amazing and I feel blessed to have so many friends created from something. I never expected TH-cam. Wow what a lesson TH-cam has been for me
Hey Hey Grandpa 👴 I totally understand what you're going through with your back I'm on disability because of mine, one of my Dr's told me surgery wasn't going to fix my problem and that if I did have surgery it would lead to 5 or 6 more surgeries that most likely wouldn't help. So here I am watching you tube lol .
Well enough of me, You my friend 🧡 take care of yourself and heal up don't do to much to fast.

The hardest thing is when your mind tells you that you can do it but body has a different plan it took me many years to figure out other ways to do all the stuff I love to do just in different ways ways or shorter lengths of time but it I make it happen on my really bad days I just pray for the good days that I know are coming it will get better just don’t rush yourself

Thank you so much. I definitely don’t wanna do anything crazy I’m definitely not gonna start too early because I know the pain that I’ve been going through for the past three weeks. I’m grateful that my leg surgery went OK. I’m just a little disappointed that from the leg surgery, I have major back pains that are really causing me lots of trouble if I can just get past this pain. I’ll get back to work quickly. Pain will definitely shut you down. It’s like you can’t do anything about it.
It's good to see you on your feet. Hope for a speedy recovery. I can relate to the back pain. I have 2 ruptured discs in my lower back.
Sorry to hear that back pain is the worst my friend oh my God how can you deal with that for two years in a row? Do you have a doctor that gives you pain medicine or have you had surgery or what’s going on with you? How are you gonna fix it back pain and neck, pain or two of the worst pain pains I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve already had two surgeries on my neck and that’s what’s making me not wanna have a back surgery is the pain I went through with the neck surgery.
@@ScrappingwithGrandpa Surgery is not going to happen for me. The surgeon told me there was a 50/50 chance of not walking again after the surgery and I would have pain for the rest of my life regardless. I have learned to manage the pain with proper lifting and motions. My doctor gave me some good pain pills to take as needed, but i have not used many of them. My son is 15 and doing online schooling so he works with me daily. He is a hard worker and I am glad to have him with me. I do estate sale cleanouts and a lot of scrapping. He yells at me when I try to lift too much.

It is but the Dr.’s will give you sedation the first 2-3 days are a painful but after that my results were great definitely worth doing in my opinion cause trust I had multiple days a week where I was in so much pain I was in tears another thing that helped was ketamine infusions but very expensive I could no longer afford it
A back belt helps where it low and tight while standing

Have you ever tried radio frequency ablation it’s burning your nerves I have it done it worked amazing

I tried sending you a reply but didn’t work anyway I did break my back almost 30 years ago then fell off a row and have severer fibromyalgia was pretty much wheel chair bound for 3 years but have progressed my way with exercise and proper meds and fantastic pain specialist and now just use a cane when walking a fair amount but also osteoarthritis really bad in my neck and back and it my dad has suffered with back issues his whole life too
Oh no! 😟 what do you do for pain situation? My pain is sometimes just unbearable and I don’t know what to do about it except for cry.
I had blockage it’s called Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. Right where Dr Joe operated on you 👎. Caught in time. This was after my heart surgery.
