I love romance but have yet to touch dark romance. It's such a grey area for me because I can see it as problematic even though it's fiction. Maybe it just bugs me knowing some younger teenagers actually find it attractive and may seek it out but at the same time the author can't really stop them from reading it.
Ugh it's such a tricky topic. Maybe I'll try dark romance someday but it makes me uncomfy sometimes. I'll have to try it just to see if it surprises me. Maybe I'll surprisingly love it who knows 😂

I completely understand. I have the same thoughts sometimes. I’m still curious to read more of dark romance to get an over all understanding of the genre I guess haha

ugh i felt the same about the twisted hate conflict it felt so out of left field😭 i did enjoy these books more than u did but i totally understand your criticism especially for the first book

Gurl don’t even get me started on that twisted hate conflict. It gets me so annoyed lol. And yeah that first book wasn’t great but I’m happy I walked away from the series after a decent time with the last one!
