PREMIUM VS DISCOUNT
Think of how a business would like to manage its stock.
They would buy it whilst the price is low & then sell it when the price is high.
The same goes for currency trading.
Longs are higher probability in discount prices.
Shorts are higher probability in premium prices.
1) Identify the price leg / range on whatever timeframe you are on
2) Use Fib tool (50%) to locate the equilibrium
3) Buy in the discount / sell in the premium
Price does not have to pull back to discount pricing to form a higher low in a bullish market.
Price does not have to pull back to premium pricing to form a lower high in a bearish market.

A very insightful video. I appreciate the baby steps it takes to master the ropes of profitable trading. Most traders are searching for that elusive method where they never lose or can win eight or nine trades out of 10, amassing huge profits in a short amount of time with no risk, which I'd say is ill advised.
Trading successfully takes time. There is always some level of risk, which needs to be understood and managed.
Trading is just like anything else in life. You will be burned if you do not come prepared. Only a few people have turned $1,000 into hundreds of thousands of dollars. The majority of people will not.
The problem is that some strategies are extremely difficult to grasp and difficult to incorporate into my trading strategy; to be honest, it's extremely exhausting.
@@miranda-sun It is best to experiment with what works for you, understand it, and stick to it. Trading is mentally taxing; you should probably hire a professional to trade for you. It's a safer way to reduce risk and earn while learning.

Excellent material. I've been looking at this type of trading for a while now, but always wondered which POI I should set my buy/sell orders on. Your explanations have been spot on for what I am looking for at this point in my trading journey. I've been aware of the premium/discount concept for awhile, but always got FOMO and would enter trades in the wrong zone, then get upset when price would drop straight through my stop loss without so much as a single reversal. Your video has encouraged me to be more patient and wait...the trades will come. Thank you!

1. keep it simple, Swing High/Lows are the tops and bottoms you see
2. switch to line graph to see highs and lows better

Really enjoy watching your videos. Amazing how much you can glean from simple technical analysis & price action. What catches my attention the most is how you use it to trade against the longer TF trend when the pull backs happen within the shorter TF.
I tried so many courses in my trading journey, spent a lot of money learning and losing..
