      Hi there. My site is inactive at the moment. I’m having some issues with maintaining the business while being stationed overseas 🙁. I apologize for the inconvenience. I’ll definitely post an update once everything is worked out.

    I love seeing videos of people successfully interlocking. I feel like it gets such a bad rep but it’s done well for my hair!

      I agree! Especially since I love working out and being outdoors. I need to wash frequently and interlocking allows me to look maintained right after washing! It’s amazing. Your locs are amazing 🤩!

    I absolutely love this. It's so hard to come across positive interlocking videos. I've been loc'd for almost 3 years, and I've been interlocking since the beginning.
    Thank you for sharing this. I can't wait until my hair is as long and healthy as yours. Or maybe I can wait for the length. I'm trying to enjoy my journey where I am.

    • @RebekahElaine
      @RebekahElaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have 130-140 locs (can’t quite remember). And I interlock every 3 months or so. I also retwist when I style my hair sometimes.

      @@RebekahElaine Thank you for responding to my comment the reason I asked is because I am growing locs myself. I have 102 locs and i interloc every 3 to 4 months. I want my locs to look full. I choose the interlocking method over the retwisting method because I have a scalp condition and my scalp flakes up more than usual and I have to wash literally every week so I knew the retwisting method wouldn’t be work for me. I’ve been watching a ton of videos to get knowledgeable on proper maintenance of taking care of my locs. So far so good minus the scalp condition I have found a few remedies that could work plus I will be seeing a dermatologist soon. Your locs look amazing be the way ❤️

    • @deawnnapretlow5496
      @deawnnapretlow5496 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The reason you made a knot was because you went in the loop you made once you went through your loc.

    How do you remember what the last direction of thread is for the next time you interloc? It looks like you're doing four points but when you don't have enough room to do another full cycle, what do you do? Is there a difference in the last two points vs thee full four? Hope you don't mind all the questions

    • @RebekahElaine
      @RebekahElaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t mind the questions. To be honest, I never remember the last direction I used. But since I only do it every three months or so, I usually have so much new growth that it doesn’t matter. If I don’t have enough room, I just stop. I’m not sure if I understand the last question.

    • @victoriabrown4727
      @victoriabrown4727 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RebekahElaine oh thank you so much for responding! But for the last question, I was wondering if it makes a difference if you arent able to complete a full four rotations at the end. Like when you stop early, im assuming it doesnt make that big of a difference the next time you interlock?

    Tips for a person who is starting self maintenance with interlocking but is scared because they can't see the back and the hair grows away from the loc

    • @RebekahElaine
      @RebekahElaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there. I’d say, take your time. Use clips to isolate the loc you want to interlock, and use two mirrors so that you can see the back.

    • @RebekahElaine
      @RebekahElaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I only interlock about every 3 months. But usually after 2-3 weeks I’ll end up doing a little retwist and style.

  • @HomeWithChristyT

    • @RebekahElaine
      @RebekahElaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว
