Telltale games in general don't change much despite your choices, that's kind of their 'thing' and it's been a problem with season 1 just as much as season 2, so I'm not sure why people beat season 2 down so hard for it when season 1 has the same issue.

Season 2 is terrible, the entire season a bunch of grown adults are being taught how to survive by a 10 year old. And basically every decision you make doesnt matter cuz the people will just die anyways. Season 1 was the best season ever when i finished it i knew they wouldnt be able to make something that good again
Personally I think they killed characters off a bit too liberally this season. 1 second its a big group and then half of them are gone. I get its literally an apocalpse and people are going to die, but its hard to really get attached to them and care when they die. like the random Keeny fellow at the end, womp womp, could barely remember his name tbh.
I respect your opinion on this season being good for you but not for me but I don't hate it as much other people do and I couldn't kill kenny over personally I didn't like jane purposely risk aj life just prove a point to a man who already got anger issues and the game trying hard make him seem like a bad person in season 2 specially over what happen with avro who I hate cause he still shoot a little girl even if you was nice to him and defend him from kenny like sure kenny has flaws what characters in this game doesn't but regardless I know he has good heart like lee and in the end if you let him live like I did in my playthrough he give up going to wellington to make sure clem and aj was safe shows how much he care for the two no hate to you staying with jane through
I used to love it, now I feel like S2 is just a disaster. If you wanna like it, fine. It’s your own opinion. But for me and others critically it’s a significant downgrade over S1. I feel like it’s getting the Star Wars prequels effect where people ignore issues of a previous game/ movie because it’s sequel movies/ games were worse. It’s flawed logic
i understand where youre coming from, but in reality, the first season was that good that i feel its almost impossible to make something that doesnt seem like a downgrade. i agree its definitely not as good, but i reckon its still a great game :)
@@b33d33 I get that. It’s just for me there was too many cooks in the kitchen and a lot of characters or storylines felt half done. Like how past episode 2 a lot of the cabin survivors effectively become background characters, where that didn’t feel quite as obvious in S1.
I honestly think that Sarah is less of a reflection of what clem could've been, and more of what Lee would've done, if chuck hadn't of said what he did. I also like to think of it less as incapable adults and more of adults who don't care about Clementine. The only 2 people who mention clementine is a child/actually help or go with her are Carlos and Luke. I believe they're the only 2 who care any amount, aside from Pete. The rest of that group specifically simply don't give a crap about clem, or what happens to her. So she does all the dangerous and crappy stuff. I think a different perspective is all that's needed to see a story as good❤ I love your videos❤ Editited to say I also don't believe anything about Sarah having issues. She was what, 11/12 when the apocalypse started? Young enough for people to want to protect her. She looks young now. I think she was overly shielded /before/ the end of the world, and everything falling apart simply sent Sarah to a state of panic limbo. Carlos dying is what flung her back to reality.
@@kingofgrim4761 that ruins it for me. Not because I have anything against disorders, but I preferred the way they did Ben. There doesn't always have to be a reason or a notion of sympathy for a character to be well developed. I believe Sarah's arc would've been better if we'd have seen more independent actions and less of her obeying Carlos. I wished you could've helped her rebel and come out of her shell :(
@ the fact they have a disorder shouldn’t really change how you feel about the character. It’s not about the sympathy. It’s both inclusion and makes sense given her character/personality.
No no no! This season had terrible writing all the way through. It was a bi-product of the old writers killing off Lee too soon. Killing off characters left and right is realistic? Then what’s up with the constant rendezvous with the season 1 cast? First Omid and Christa then Kenny after all that distance that was made between them over the span of two years? Carver, this so called survivalist holds over 10 people up at gunpoint with a couple who are armed, while not having the gun pointed at them either. Carver literally turns away from them to shoot Clementine yet no one, not even Kenny intervenes. Everyone starts running out of the herd of zombies while screaming at the top of their lungs and only the red shirts get killed off? Like how is Bonnie, Mike and Kenny not getting absolutely demolished by the walkers around them with all the noise they’re constantly making? Characters only die when the plot says so. Thats why certain characters die and others continue on to make things worse for the sake of the plot. Like Bonnie getting Luke killed. Bonnie was basically the embodiment of this terrible writing. God both her and Mike should’ve died long ago if this story was actually realistic. Same with Nick before the group met with Kenny’s group. You seriously need to turn your brain off for this season for it to be remotely realistic.
i personally thought it was a good mix of realism but also creating enough shock to make the story entertaining. if the game only consisted of people who knew exactly what they were doing and never got fooled or caught off guard, it mightve made for quite the boring game 😅
@ If you don’t care about well written stories then what right do you have to call this one a masterpiece? This season was the spark that burnt down TellTale.
I could go on and on about how fucking useless the characters were in this season. The only two I liked were Pete and Luke (Even though he said and did some stupid stuff, and was kind of a hoe, I would take him over any of the others). Nick was a Ben 2.0, Alvin did fuck all until the writers made him do so, Carlos clearly got his degree in the back of an alleyway, Rebecca is just an incubator, Bonnie is one of the biggest pick mes in gaming history, If Mike disappeared randomly I don’t think the story would change at all, Kenny is Kenny, and Jane is a mess of poorly constructed writing
Shooting Kenny was the best option in my opinion narratively. Set the mood that the whole season was building up to, that unhinged Kenny being put down before he became another Carver. For me, I'm not a Kenny hater more so a Kenny fan hater. The fact I often get accused of siding with Jane for daring to not side with Kenny is utterly ridiculous. Jane doesn't know how to deal with people, meanwhile Kenny was a ticking time bomb.
i agree, realistically people would have said the ending was terrible if it was only possible that jane died. it makes for a far more emotional end to the season
He never became another Carver, nor was there an actual reason to believe that would happen; other than falling for the gaslighting by the other characters.
SPOILER WARNING FOR COMMENTS :))) Come back and check the comments at the end :)
the fact that all the characters from first episode’s house are dead by 5th episode is diabolical for me
Technically not every one. AJ was in Rebeccas belly and very much alive so that makes him the only one from the cabin group surviving!
I agree but everyone except Lee, Clementine and Kenny were all that remained from Episode 1 by the time we got to Episode 5.

@@b33d33 I’ve been a season 2 hater for a long time so I look forward to hearing a new perspective
I loved the series up till season 3 I honestly wished they would have focused on the choice based parts instead of making it feel like nothing matters
sorry i have to disagree that the storyline is better than season 1, but i still think it’s quite good
they both definitely have their moments which make them great, difficult to decide between them both
I have no goddamn clue why season 2 gets hated on it was so good and infinitely better than season 3
Season 2 is terrible, the entire season a bunch of grown adults are being taught how to survive by a 10 year old. And basically every decision you make doesnt matter cuz the people will just die anyways. Season 1 was the best season ever when i finished it i knew they wouldnt be able to make something that good again
i feel as though even in season 1, characters were always going to die, our decisions just changed when it was going to happen
Personally I think they killed characters off a bit too liberally this season. 1 second its a big group and then half of them are gone. I get its literally an apocalpse and people are going to die, but its hard to really get attached to them and care when they die.
like the random Keeny fellow at the end, womp womp, could barely remember his name tbh.
keeny is up there with one of the most forgettable characters fr 😞
@@b33d33 who??
Why does Reggie sound like an Indian Stereotype.
i wouldnt be surprised from a 2013 game 😅
I respect your opinion on this season being good for you but not for me but I don't hate it as much other people do and I couldn't kill kenny over personally I didn't like jane purposely risk aj life just prove a point to a man who already got anger issues and the game trying hard make him seem like a bad person in season 2 specially over what happen with avro who I hate cause he still shoot a little girl even if you was nice to him and defend him from kenny like sure kenny has flaws what characters in this game doesn't but regardless I know he has good heart like lee and in the end if you let him live like I did in my playthrough he give up going to wellington to make sure clem and aj was safe shows how much he care for the two no hate to you staying with jane through
Yes Yes Yes!! Face reveal soon
I think a different perspective is all that's needed to see a story as good❤ I love your videos❤
Editited to say I also don't believe anything about Sarah having issues. She was what, 11/12 when the apocalypse started? Young enough for people to want to protect her. She looks young now. I think she was overly shielded /before/ the end of the world, and everything falling apart simply sent Sarah to a state of panic limbo. Carlos dying is what flung her back to reality.
really interesting thoughts on the game :) thanks a lot for watching!
True but it was confirmed Sarah has some disorder
@@kingofgrim4761 that ruins it for me. Not because I have anything against disorders, but I preferred the way they did Ben. There doesn't always have to be a reason or a notion of sympathy for a character to be well developed. I believe Sarah's arc would've been better if we'd have seen more independent actions and less of her obeying Carlos. I wished you could've helped her rebel and come out of her shell :(
@ the fact they have a disorder shouldn’t really change how you feel about the character. It’s not about the sympathy. It’s both inclusion and makes sense given her character/personality.
Can you please play the walking dead Destinies 🙏🏻
i’ll give it a look :)
@@b33d33 think you and can you please give it five stars I’m trying to get them to make more seasons
@@MATAX5its just a video title, i enjoyed playing the game a lot, you dont have to agree with me :) it’s interesting to hear other people’s opinions
That’s with every game lol ppl only die when the plot says so even s1 does this you just hate s2 for no reason lol give actual good points
Oh man. I think objectively S2 is the worst season telltale did. So I gotta disagree here.
i honestly think it was great, episode 4/5 let it down a bit though
Imo , this season sucked
Watch akain's video about it
i did, but i thought the game deserved some positivity, because really it isnt that bad :)
No
He never became another Carver, nor was there an actual reason to believe that would happen; other than falling for the gaslighting by the other characters.
