Wildwood is literally my happy place, i go for a week ever summer! Last summer it was so different with covid but it was still a great time. Looking forward to July so i can head down again!
It is really a fun place for whole family to stay in wildwoods and have fun. We did not go wildwood last year but Hopefully this year.
We are here now and we will never return. This place is dirty, food is horrible and expensive. Ocean NJ blows it away

Oh, but what fond, summer memories I have of Wildwood, NJ! Unfortunately, I haven't been back there last, since I was a kid in the early 80's and still living in New York.
What a magical place as a child, when the world still seemed innocent and Santa existed. The smells of peanuts roasting, sweets, French fries, popcorn and cotton candy, mixed with the salt ocean air. The sounds of people talking and laughing, while hearing the ubiquitous _"Watch the tramcar, please,"_ from the Sightseer's speakers; which, by the way, I never rode on and not by choice (however a boardwalk is made for walking, especially for a healthy youngster with much energy to burn)! The cries of seagulls in the background, whilst baseballs were being thrown, attempting to knock over pins, balloons popping from thrown darts which found their mark (for prizes, usually stuffed plush animals), added to the carnival atmosphere. Folks screaming to the thrill of riding the old wooden roller-coaster, along with other rides, and the "Haunted House" I never got a chance to go into, dang it!

@@BhanusKitchenBhanusRasoi Thank you, and yes I certainly do have a lot of pleasant childhood memories and it was a wonderful place, and I hope, still is. I remember once when I was at the beach digging up large clams with people coming up to me, as I was giving them away as soon as I could dig em up. I also remember one of my first kisses outside in our motel's plaza, a rather big deal when you're eight or nine years old.

OK, speaking as someone who spent most vacations in Wildwood, NJ I want to give my own $$$ saving tip(s): Go to AAA and get the ride/slide pass there for $75.00 (as of 2019.) You can ride all day and slide another day. Maybe I'll make a video of the other tips sometime.

The best part of the Tramcar is the recording that tells people to get out of the way "watch the Tramcar please", do they still have the recording? I have not been to wildwood in years.

two of the best places to eat for breakfast in Wildwood NJ is Uncle Bills pancake house or the Red Oak Buffet that place has been there forever and I have memories eating there with my dad in the early 90's the place has good food..

Bhanu's Kitchen Bhanu's Rasoi one really good place to eat is Alfey’s for dinner I went there as a kid there are plenty of good places to eat you just have to know where to go I stayed in Wildwood for 7 days once and after the fifth day you feel like you eat the same food over and over it’s not so bad for breakfast but it can get frustrating for dinner after like five days..
@@neilonicko1 yeah that's true, after 4-5 days of staying at the same place then you start running out of lunch and dinner choices. That happens anywhere you travel.
Me and my family go here every year we go with all my cousins it’s so fun we stay at Seapointe Village which i would recommend because it’s awesome

Cape May is hardly 50 minutes drive from the Wildwood.
Last year... first we stayed at the Wildwood and then next day we went to Cape May NJ. Cape Cod, MA has some beautiful beaches too.

Actually Wildwood offers wide variety of rides compare to atlantic City, including the water rides and many many more. It's a lot to do in the wildwood
Everything is so damn expensive…. Overpriced and overrated 😢…. The water is freezing 🥶 on the beach mid July…. A waste of money $400’per night some bs motels ….

Most of them are the Motels around Wildwoods area, but we found one franchise based hotel that is Days Inn

This sounds like the comments grown ups were telling us kids about Wildwood back in the 80s and 90s. I grew up in Millville/Vineland.
Now, as a grown-up, I can say that my family and I love Wildwood . It’s my kid’s 2nd favorite of all the beach towns.
The best thing that was ever in wildwood was Dracula castle. it. Burnt down 23 years ago
