Great battle, a nice break from the usual overly scheming rappers. Good to hear some flow, vocal cadence, and overall live-n-direct shit. Thats what i expect from Philly and Jersey emcees. They kept the bully tension high too as the crowd wanted to get those chills.

This is a perfect example of how matching the right people makes all the difference. I'm not a big fan of either in general but they both made a really good battle. I'm not with the whole "fans 1st" concept. These battle rappers need to put themselves 1st and make moves that benefit them before anything. Then the fans and the culture because that's what most (if not all) of these battles leagues will do. What works best for THEIR business. Just like fans might want a battle rapper to battle more often but if that isn't the best move for the emcee personally they shouldn't because many of those same fans will drop them if they aren't prepared/fuck up for biting more than they can chew. Someone who has been grinding for a long time (and has made a name for themselves/has helped build the culture) should be able to be picky about who they battle. At this time, a battle league isn't going to pay Ty Law the money they would pay Loaded Lux even though Ty Law is dope. Why is that? Because it isn't smart for THEIR business and a top tier isn't wrong for not taking a battle they feel isn't beneficial to THEIR brand/career. The only time I have an issue with it is when a top tier uses excuses to dodge tough competition.

I feel what you are saying as far as the separation of the rappers with the creation of tiers based upon years of experience. Truth is the Top tier rappers need to give the young jays a shot ... If they prove to be a worthy competitor. Also in any environment where competition is the sport there will always be tiers of competitors. Rookies don't get the same love and perks as vets (you can use any sport for example) the time put in is what gives rappers their status but the quality of work is what puts them in a tier so again I agree that if a young rapper proves to be worthy they deserve a shot but only after proving themselves because we've seen the vets earn their titles and status. Nothing wrong with PG's I personally feel like most new jays have the same flow and no real distinct delivery from the rest. Most rap to fast and lack performance. A lot of arm waving and similar imitation in their exaggeration of bars. The uniqueness is being saturated and for that I don't want to see a (insert proving ground rapper name) against Charlie clips, T-Rex, Tay Rock, or even a Math or Cortez although they fell off.

Round 1: I would say Rosenberg Raw Edged it, he actually rapped longer and I felt his bars were more geared towards Shotgun Suge.
Round 2: This round I was hoping Rosenberg would win, but boy was I wrong. Shotgun Suge came with some personals and schemes which worked well in this round, even if some of his accusations were not all the way true Shotgun Suge made it seem that way.
Round 3: Was Unlimited this should have been the round Shotgun Suge should have taken advantage of, he could have touched on so many subjects regarding Rosenberg Raw and Bill Collector fallout and much more, but he fell short and cut his round to 2 or 3 minutes. Rosenberg Raw wasn't that good either but he rapped longer and touched on more subjects and got a little more personal then Shotgun Suge.
