- Hey guys! Here's the latest vlog of my super adventure off-roading ever in India. The route to Chandratal lake from Manali is a bit risky, considering the rough roads.
The badly broken trails were the only way to reach the destination. We faced difficulties on this route.

Bro...with the kind of offroading that u do...May I suggest u change the stock handguards to the barkbuster ones and change the stock mirrors to the touratech adventure mirrors. I changed mine to these....and have no regrets. U may Google both items and see the reviews for yourself. Cheers
Bark busters are for light dirt bikes..in case of a fall in a heavy bike they will move the impact to handle bar and bend it.Not recommended by BMW
@@doctormthebikingexperience1558 barkbusters has a metal rail that prevents damage and impact to the bars.....I have them installed on my GS .....and on all of my adventure bikes. In a fall....only the plastic handguard gets damaged....but the metal rail protects the rest of the bike.....the stock GSA hand guards do not have a metal railing for added protection.....this being the point I am trying to raise Muru
The metal part is a knuckle protector and aded clutch protector. The plastic part is for wind protection. As you claim you have a Gs do check the handle bar /clutch design. The clutch has a small dent in them. This is for it to break in a fall. 1st of all the probability of the clutch breaking is minuscule due to the Boxer design. This clutch design enables to save your handle bar. And the clutch brakes only a wee bit. So u still have another bit to ride. That's why it ships with a wind guard and not something like a barky. Bmws recommend against the barkys. Well at least in India.
@@doctormthebikingexperience1558 in Singapore...even in europe...most GS and GSA owners use barkbusters. It works for me...May not be useful to others I guess. But I am happy I fixed one on my GS. Has been a lifesaver at times
