You mentioned that the turn signal was incandescent on the factory housing, but that's incorrect. The factory GMC tail light had LED running, brake, and turn signals, as well as incandescent reverse lights. I'm quite shocked that Morimoto wouldn't have made a housing with better reverse light brightness w/o using the boost bar.
Neat looking lights! Here's an off topic question: have yall ever tested the Sylvania LED headlight bulbs (more specifially 9007?) I want to see if the upgrate to the 2stroke 4 is worth the extra $110. Thanks! Edit: $110 upgrade not $150
They are very close. The wiring is a bit different. If you have a Tahoe be sure to get the correct XB tail light. The Tahoe and Suburban are cross compatible though.

There was in fact a tail light that used the OEM Halogen bulb, it was a 7440 bulb size.

Unfortunately, smoked light covers are illegal in some states such as PA

Not sure I'd want my Yukon to look like an Escalade... Nothing worse than people trying to pose their cars as a more premium model/brand
Premium model is fine IMO... interior, grille, wheels. But making it look like an entirely different MAKE... nah.
