I have a 35 page long document... just world building of an idea i would LOVE to turn into a webtoon but... Well... Quite time and miney consuming... plus I'm such a perfectionist and stressed person i need everything to be "perfect" before starting and while i work on it... 😢
I think that’s what prevented me for a long time too. It’s definitely not easy to overcome!

12:15 "Do as I say, not as I do." I feel like this part here should be a big disclaimer for this type of video. I was kinda surprised you made a video with tips and advice when I've only seen the one before a long time ago. I'd love to see more of the current webcomic you're working on. It being behind Instagram does kinda block it off since I'd have to sign up for an account to view it. It might be cool to publish the webtoon in other places as well where anyone can access them without having an account since the extra effort might push people away.
That’s fair. Despite my first webcomic not succeeding, importantly learned a lot from that experience. In the video I still talk about story development as a whole, which I have a lot of experience with outside of that former webcomic. I attribute a lot more to the failure of that comic than just what was mentioned in this video. And I have a lot of plans for the upcoming webcomic. I’m excited for everyone to see what’s come from my 6 months of planning ✌️
I'm currently planning my webtoons since this summer, but since I'm kinda new to the writing aspect, I'm still learning all about story structure and stuff... I tried making script, but I really struggle to, so if you could make a video with some tips and your personal process it would be great! That said, I will happily follow your journey, wish you good luck on your project🍀🍀
Thank you for sharing, it can be an exciting and daunting thing for sure! I have some WEBTOON related content coming in January, so I’ll add this to the list! Until then, definitely check out McKay & Gray (@darkenedavo) on TH-cam. I learned a lot of storytelling for comics from them! 😊
@@artsumeshae That's great! And I already know McKay & Gray: the first ever video on writing plot I ever seen was from them! I still follow them, they are really good :)
This is so well thought out and well made. I followed you! I wish you the best in this journey and can't wait to see more. I've been throwing around the idea of doing my own comic/possibly webtoon for a while, and this really helps you to begin thinking correctly to start that process. :D
Totally! Milanote is the ultimate moodboard app. Lets you collage images, add captions, add text anywhere, and I like to add arrows to show what items connect. I do my characters bios, world building and more within that app. If you’re interested I can do an in-depth video on Milanote. I also recommend creators like @FranMeneses who’s done demos of Milanote on her channel!
I would love to make a webtoon but it seems really time-consuming
You’re not wrong! 😂 it’s definitely a long haul project.
Well, what are you doing with your life right now?
I''m excited to watch you document the behind the scenes of your webcomic!
Thank you 🥰
This is a good explanation salamat po for sharing this
Walang anuman!
