I've been a lover of the music of the Vineyard for about 25 years now, and the voices of people like Brian Doerksen, Andy Park, David Ruis, Scott Underwood, Terry Butler, Wendy O'Connell, Cindy Rethmeier, and Kathryn Scott formed for me what a worship leader should sound like. They are all considered old-school now, of course, and guys like Marc James and Brenton Brown succeeded many of them, and Casey Corum and other followed them. I was new-born in living a Christian life when I heard Vineyard songs for the first time, and they were unlike anything I had heard in Christian music beforehand. I heard the original live recording of "Come, Now is the Time to Worship" with Brian and Wendy, and it was a spark. Then, when I heard the album, "Hungry", it was a complete game-changer. "Your Name Is Holy" was absolutely thrilling, and ushered in a truly verdant season spiritually! This is of course, a very long way to say it brings me joy to see Brian and Marc and David reappearing alongside today's prominent Vineyard voices like Casey, Kyle Howard, Tim Brown, Tina Colon Williams, Cate Cooke, and Anabeth Morgan. Thank you to the voices of Vineyard Worship for keeping worship at the forefront of these songs in a uniquely sincere way. When I see a song released with the Vineyard name, I know I can trust that the seeds of authentic worship are contained in each song, and the recordings are an example of how a song might be expressed by a local church, rather than a showcase of talent.
Time passes, but this song's exhortation does not fade. I find it as uplifting as it was when I heard it. One of my all-time favourites. Thank you, Brian Doerksen and Vinyard Worship.
As a baby (and even now) my parents always played these classics; it was a wonderful surprise to realize i already knew the song when she started singing though i didn't recognize its name! Please continue to do more renditions of the old vineyard songs. So moving and great fun to hear it sung in another way. Its powerful & refreshing. God bless you! Praise God.

Wendy's voice is still very beautiful. The first time I heard this I was mesmerized by her voice.
