I bought one of these. Absolute garbage. Wouldn't connect to the app. It went back to Amazon. the glowing switch is not waterproof and if you get it wet it can zero the ESC I bought a 1080 g2. It worked flawlessly out of the box.
Thanks for the upload, was very informative. The testing ground was fantastic. Hopefully the construction there does not get done soon so you can still use it.
Looked like a highway construction site. I used to be a Hydroseeding/Erosion Control Operator and it was the time of my life! I wish I would have been into RCs then like I am now! The construction sites were absolutely perfect for testing mudders, climbers, crawlers, monster trucks and super bashers... Anyway, awesome review, and just got the ESC 2 days ago, and still doing research on it before I put it in my current build, An FMS Smasher v2 with a 130 sized motor. I ran the stock motor on 3s with a 1060 and it was awesome,... Til the motor locked up in about 30 runs. It was a sealed motor with no real way to lubricate. So, I figured might as well swap the ESC for something with more custom settings for the power going to the transmission and Wheels. After seeing this, I'm going for it with a 2s at start on the Off-road Setting, PWM of 2, f/b/r, with drag brake at 5. Probably move the punch to 7, and leave everything else alone. Thanks for this informative video!
That's a great ESC for brushed RCS, I like the options in the app
Yeah it’s awesome, very convenient with the app
ESC works great for a crawler! I agree now lets see what it does with something fast!!! 😁
It sure does work great with the crawler. I’m thinking I’ll swap it into one of my on-road buggies once the weather smartens up. 👍💯

Mine connects to the app with no issues and has been working flawlessly. I’ve seen issues with others mostly when these were first released
It also depends on the user
Hi there, an interesting ESC and a great feature to be able to programme it using BT. Best wishes 😊
I’m very impressed with the app makes it very convenient. Thanks for watching have a great week 👍
