This is turning deeply heartbreaking each time I see it ...
Yet, I cannot not see it ...
This is so sad.
I love uenoyama and seeing this just hurts sm because mafuyu would never be able to love him like the way he loved yuki. I know he obviously loves uenoyama more in the future but mafuyu looked way more happy and in peace when he was with yuki, he grew more aloof and quiet, even after he got together with uenoyama. I do ship mafuyu with uenoyama since the story is mainly focused on them and their story but sometimes I just wish, uenoyama should've deserve someone else. I just feel like mafuyu would never be able fully to move on from yuki ever and it just hurts thinking all over (and its just from all my perspective)
I think it's bcs Mafuyu already experienced grief beforehand... he got hurt cuz he felt that what Yuki's doing is also bcs of him... he became more quiet cuz he's in the process of healing from the grief and hurt... After he healed in the end he will be able to move on and become happier
well there's this one great love or first love that would be embedded in your bones. even if someone else comes that person always has a place in your heart. That's why I don't like seeing Yuki 😅 it's because there's a big WHY and WHAT IFs in my head every time I see him coz I also like Uenoyama and Mafuyu.
@hualian5339 that's the exact same reason for me too! I don't like seeing the yuki and mafuyu interactions at all because even if I ship ritsuka and mufuyu a lot and love their relationship, and yuki appearing in the screen with mafuyu looking genuinely happy and free, it hurts, especially for ritsuka because he would never be able to witness mafuyu's real nature.
@@1_sanegiyuu_stan there's that too it hits different 🤔🥹 like Yuki is the soulmate and Ritsuka is the last love. especially that 10 years after in the manga, I don't know if that's really the end and no more interaction with both of them coz it feels lacking like they're living together but they seem just housemates and a s*x friend to me... I don't know what other people feel but that's how it conveyed to me lol 😂 so I'm a bit disappointed.
Yuki and Mafuyu could be perfect together and it's really a waste but you also have to understand the mental health issue.. but like WHY? 😅 at first I see chemistry between them but the more Yuki appeared the more it's painful to watch 🤔😂
@hualian5339 I think it's more appropriate to say that yuki was his first love and ritsuka was his soulmate, that goes well in my perspective but yeah😭

I think … what’s making the succeeding films difficult to watch, was because before we were just reading them in the manga. But now, we are hearing their voices (courtesy of the admirable seiyūs), and the heartbreaking music. That’s why … the hurt we felt when we read these parts of the manga was amplified. But I would read it all over again though. And then watch it all over again. 😭😭😭

@@hualian5339 Yes. The one Yuki started, and Hiiragi made Ritsuka finish, and had given the title, "Umi e". I'm not sure if it's in this film though. It is possible that we will hear it first as an audio, since it will be released this coming September 20. The showing of the continuation of this film. Part 2, if you'd see it that way. Given -To the Sea-. The performance of syh feat. Ritsuka will be in that film.

I think the way mafuyu loves yuki and uenoyama is different. Mafuyu and yuki spent most of times together, sharing same family problems since they were young. They became indispensable to each other and started to love. They relied on each other and shared their hardships. Even though yuki looked active, he was suffering from depression and seemed to have mental problems. So when mafuyu said that words to yuki, yuki might be shocked and wanted to prove his love by death.
I don't believe that mafuyu loves uenoyama as much he loved yuki, but uenoyama is not a replacement of yuki. Yuki was mafuyu's unforgettable first love and also an anchor.

@@PurpleMoon799 I love the main couple. I like Ue and Mafuyu together and that's what hurts. Because deep down Mafuyu loves Uenoyama but never the way he did with Yuki. And that why it hurts so much.
