thats why i like watching anime, i feel like i am in another world and can escape the pressure of society. i know it sounds cheesy but watching anime has helped me feel like i can do something more in life then just being like everybody else :P

Thank you for the feedback and you just proved my point people say they're normal and yet they watch the most un-normal things every day they live. In reality NORMAL is just a word people use to make different/ open minded people feel like they have no meaning in this world that is just the truth. The thing I'm trying to tell people is BE WHO YOU ARE and don't let other people tell you what to be.

Thank you for the feedback and yes I can completely relate to what you are saying. Anime is not just some thing you can put off as another TV show it is something that can go past the boundaries of regular shows and movies too and I'm proud to say that when I watch a very moving anime I can delve into it's universe and come back sad, happy or both and say I love who I am. When I was typing this I was thinking about three Anime and they were,Elfen Lied,The Future Diary,Rin Daughters of Mnemosyne.

Amv's back in the day were better period they had more personality to it, better editing as well. Nowadays most amvs are u favourite number with your favourite anime. And those which aren't and you can tell at least effort was put in just feel lazy compared to the ones I grew up with.
And yeah this one bangs, it's one I will happily return to.

I agree, I mean, the story is still enjoyable and moving, but the "ecchi" is what makes Anime something that I don't really share with people and makes it kind of hard to try to introduce it to people that have never watched it before.
I personally feel that the Anime industry doesn't have to resort to these tactics to attract attention as a good story line, decent animation and good characters (I guess character development could be included in story line) are really what make or break anime.
