Absolutely lovely beautiful people, they never seem distressed anxious, cold like some Western peoples, they maybe in poor areas but are spotlessly clean, happy smiling people God bless the peoples' please don't change
Iam from Singapore. The little alley ways is really exciting to the eyes. If i was walking on my own i would turn back at certain areas as it looks like a dead end but no your video shows that it goes on and on until it comes to a main road. Great. The pinoys are a fun people always smiling and enjoying life in good or bad times.
I grew up in Singapore when they still had Kampongs. I used to go down there all the time and play with the malaysian boys in the kampong. we didn't speak the same language, but they were fun to play with. they made a wooden bicycle out of a soda box and we used to glide them down the hills. Do you know where Vanda road and Bukit tima is? Kind of near 6th ave and bukit tima? that is where I used to live 4 vanda avenue.
We need someone like Lee kuan yew in the philippines ASAP.. Our people are really tired and abused for so long now.. endless Corruption, civil wars , drugs , kidnapping, cyber crime child selling , murder is a joke in the Philippines, a persons life is only worth $100 bucks , some will do it just for beers or $50 us or less😢 Most filipinos are brainwash by their families to only care for the whole family but not the country.. We weren’t aleays like that , before the colonization .. We were known by the chinese and many nations as very honest, warriors and holds high integrity. What happen to us? Pls give us a person like lee kuan yew in the philippines.. Our people are still sufferring.
Thank you for another insightful and revealing documentary uncovering daily life in a Philippines slum. Always heart-warming to witness the happy, friendly and welcoming squatters living amidst such dirt, filth and squalor in the Philippines slums. It was my inspiration to create Drew's Travels, documenting the lives of these less fortunate yet heart-warming communities, thriving in this diverse and beautiful country that is the Philippines.
We know there are many beautiful women in the Philippines (some worked for me many years ago) but they are so rare in your walks that one would believe there are none.
i finally get to see what your setup looks like. i know it's pretty common to have a selfie stick for this kind of recording but i've seen some other ways which are my preferred method if i were to do this as well. i prefer a body cam or a helmet cam as these are more likely avoid drawing too much attention. it seems like you don't mind it.
This video is just amazing! They are always smiling despite their tough life. The kids are so angelic. I would love to teach English in the Philippines as I do in Japan. The video quality is out of this world! The sound ... oh my gosh! How do you do that? I kept thinking someone is in my room as I watch this. Had to keep turning around. Thank you so much!!!!
I agree with you, Its absolutely lovely seeing these beautiful smiling people, its as if walking in Paradise,,the people, and especially children have that love surrounding there lives, and there surroundings are poor, desperate but honestly I see" its' heaven' I would beg" please don't change, they have that gold,*magic* that I feel in the west is gone, but as I watch it ,its so lovely warm comfortable,, it feels like another planet
I love the Philippines! It looks a lot like cities in Brazil in the past, where we had few crimes, there wasn't much drug trafficking, there were many children playing in the streets... but today with left-wing politicians and their weak laws, they place servants from 10 years old onwards. trafficking, it's very sad but the government doesn't do anything... the reason I want to go to the Philippines one day is not the beautiful women, but the quality of life that reminds me of my childhood
I like videos like this, away from the touristy areas, but I like them better with interactions with the locals. I find it funny when the ladies see the camera they get shy, but have no problems taking and posting hundreds of pics and TikTok videos of themselves LOL.
Thank you, this is more of an ambience channel, but I just started another channel where I will mostly be uploading my short videos and I plan to upload some bts videos where you can see a bit of some interaction. Thanks for watching. New channel is Krypto Trekker Reels
Thanks for the video,,we once lived in this area,,back then,in my young mind I thought tne intersection are wide,,I'm always scared to cross the street, now that I am in my mid 30s I realised it was a tiny intersection😁..we left Zapote maybe 1998 and nothing change,,busy as hell,a lot of people own now a motorbike that made it busier,, the famous barbeque stand still there,,amazing..😁...Thanks again to your video,,it bring back a good old memories
When I go to the Philippines I'm going to visit Baccor Cavite for sure I have friends and people from a Baptist Church there that I'm going to meet the Church!!
19:09 thanks. Ganito na pala ngayon sa Zapote. Parang mas lumuwag at dumami mga buildings. Badtrip, nakaka-adik ganitong videos. Educational din kasi para malaman mo kung ano sitwasyon socio-economic status dito sa Maynila. 21:35 Hindi na nawala yugn baha-basa sa parte ng kalye na ito. More than ten years ago ko na nakita ito. 24:38 lakas kumita ng mga ihawan dito. more than ten years ago may nakausap kami na kuya, napaaral niya lahat ng anak niya. 47:28 this my friend are the kids that prove that the Philippines still has fast growing population.
Helo dear I visited Manila in 1997 and visited mabeeni street , baklaran and stayed in Ambassador Hotel will u make video of mabeeni steer and baklaran and allied areas. I m from Pakistan.
What wonderfully placid people, no one challenges you. Nobody demands "wot you doing 'ear mate? No snatching your equipment and running off with it. And dispite the simple living conditions....not a scrap of paper is to be seen blowing about the streets. What a contrast to the" informal settlements" in Africa.
Hi whats your opinion of Cavite? There are more and more of us foreign guys/girls moving there. I like the village life and small busy town/city but i also like to go out to a bar/nightlife occasionally, is there anything like that i have never seen it -cheers;)
I actually prefer Cavite over living in Manila because of its more relaxed atmosphere, less traffic, and of course near the beaches. As far as nightlife, it's nothing like Makati or Malate or any go those main nightlife areas. Cavite night spots are pretty spread out, but they are here. The nightlife here has more of the local vibes, hardly any foreigners unless you are at a major tourist area like Tagaytay. Enjoy and I recommend visiting a few times to see if you like it.
Medyo matagal akong tumira Dyan noon sa Brgy. Zapote V, Bacoor City* Cavite may Boarding House ako Dyan. At sa Brgy. Zapote, Las Pinas City* Metro Manila* magkalapit Lang Yan, pag tawid ng tulay. Dyan ako na assigned sa work. My favorite places that I've visited before. Prior the March, 2020 covid 19. Hanggang 2022.
Thank you for this video. Shows the real life there. I might be interested to retire as an expat tin Bacoor. But hopefully there are some nicer areas too. Because the perspective of having to live in a slum is not very appealing.
Thanks for watching, and yes there are many parts good and bad just like anywhere else, but the people who live in not the nicest of places in my experience are so much more nicer, just me though =)
I was raised there in Talaba 1… I cannot recognized now, a lot of things changed. Almost everything.. specially the people… The place where I become a notorious STREET WARRIOR. But now, My life is different now. I am here in Como Italy, living here for almost 25 years. Thanks to God.
Hardly any older people , kids everywhere , almost every young woman looks pregnant , who is going to feed them ? this is what unsustainable looks like ! and is happening all over the world .
