I know I'm late to the party but I just got the Galaxy watch 4 classic in 46mm, with a spigen rugged band. Always wore G-Shocks and the spigen protective band brings this watch to a whole new level, prefer the beefy look it has to it. I swore I'd never wear smart watches and now I'm eating my own words. Love your content man, keep it up 👍
Exactly my situation - I ate my own words! Was so against the idea of having a smartwatch, until I got this around two weeks ago or so. I was selling my GBD-200 for some cash as I preferred my G-5600-UE over it, and I was offered this watch together with the charger and 2 extra straps. I immediately forgot that I needed the cash and accepted the offer!
Now I wear it everyday, leaving my Certina DS Action diver and the G-5600-UE unworn for days now. I track my sleep with it, my daily steps, etc.
Love it so much, that I don't mind it being almost a 3 year old tech.

Just wanted to let you know, I bought this watch, and I frigging love it! The 44mm Watch 4 in black is what I got. Your review was what convinced me to pull the trigger.
I'm upgrading from the original and am still unsure which one to choose. I love having the rotating bezel, but the other seems more sleek and feminine. Hard decision!

I got both the black 40mm Galaxy watch 4 and 46mm Galaxy watch 4 classic and I rather wear classic more to go with my S23 ULTRA

I had no idea you could play music directly from the watch. This review was awesome, especially when you get the smaller details out there.

yeah am on my active2 game but bought it November last year. So I wont be upgrading so soon. Will wait for it to crap out before getting another smartwatch. Plus will wait for the blood glucose monitoring which will be the real game changer.
@@samjam6989 I paid $160 for an open box A2 from BB and Samsung is giving me $150 plus another 10% and 50 in accessory credit. So I ended up paying about 86 bucks and I also had $9 bucks in rewards from when I bought my S21 Ultra.
Dude, I'm still using my galaxy watch 1, Samsung has not made a worthy successor for it, I get about 3 days worth of battery life even after 3 years of use, this thing is legendary..
@@RockinRose I think the battery life on the galacy watch 4 is worst than even active 2. I heard people needing to charge them daily as it will only have 9% battery left next day. The reason why am sticking with my active 2. I just dont trust wear OS and google when it comes to smartwatches
@@samjam6989 Yeah I read that too but like I just woke up and it's on the charger from all day yesterday and it's on 46%. I wake up put in on the charger and don't put it on till around 1pm when I head to work. So I am used to charging it every day anyway just like my phone.

Pre ordered the watch 4, I had the watch active 2 and loved it. I agree that the physical rotating bezel is a killer feature but I prefer a smaller sleeker form factor for tracking fitness. The 4 which is the same form factor as the active 2 is comfortably to sleep in too. Great video as always, thanks 😊

@@najdo Ah ok interesting. I've always had good reception, but might just be my area. As for the watch, they say it's valued at $548, which is what the LTE model costs. I also confirmed with an Optus salesperson, who said it came with it. I'm on the fence as to whether I'll go for the deal.
I'm still rocking my active2 because I LOVE the way it looks and it's perfect for my job. The rotating bezel makes me nervous that I'm more likely to break it. I didn't but a Watch 3 because I didn't like the look of it. I've been waiting for that new sport version omg I adore it. My husband as a ticwatch that isn't samsung and runs Google. I love my Google assistant and I'm soooo excited to have hybrid Google and Samsung watch that looks sporty. We got our pre orders asap. These look soooo nice!!! Thx Floss

If you work in a rough area it's a great watch you can put a cover on it , you can't put a cover on your rotating bezel, but the physical bezel is dope, I just love the option to put on a cover

Music on the watch definitely isn't gimmicky. I love it on my active 2! And the same ones that call it gimmicks, as soon as it moves to Apple they'll act like the first time it's been a feature 🤣🤣
It is a gimmick, since you have to download the music as MP3 files, which you can't do easily or legally in this day and age. It's better to just use Spotify on the watch, but that works like crap.

You can easily download music from TH-cam music and transfer it over like I did in the video. Takes all of 10 minutes to download and transfer 300 songs.

Gonna be real, tough sell unless the sensors are more accurate. I got the weird like reboot of the Galaxy Watch, it wasn't Watch 3, but the damn thing doesn't seem to detect workouts well, and for being rated for swimming, damn thing died after a shower, under warranty mind you, but as it stands it's not exactly on my top 5 list of devices I wanna keep up to date, let alone when the physical bezel is $100 more. I like the bezel, I like looking like I have a normal ass watch and not some plastic shit on my wrist, ya know? But really, I hope the waterproofing and sensors have been improved. I guess I'll be looking into those. My current one thinks I'm going for a run when I'm on the swing, and good fucking luck making it detect swimming.

I preordered the classic version in black yesterday. Currently have the Watch3 and love it! With my trade in credit for it, I ended up getting the watch 4 for $200 plus a $50 instant credit to use for other accessories. Can't wait to get this one!
My husband did the same. I got him his watch 3 for Christmas for $200 after a Gear S3 trade in and now were doing what you did. I am getting the watch 4 and trading in my Active 2 I've had for a little over a year.
@@RockinRose I paid $85 for my watch 3 earlier this year after trading in my og Galaxy watch. Ended up making $100 off of it with my trade in towards the watch 4 classic. Too good of deal honestly...
If Apple were to have the trade in options like Samsung does, way more people would be upgrading their iPhone or computer or watch every year.

Excellent job! I just preordered the Galaxy 4 watch classic. I've been using the Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier watch for a few years. It's been very good but I'm looking forward to the upgrade Samsung is giving me $100 in the trade of the old watch. Your video was very helpful to understand the new features that are coming up on this watch. I would say the biggest deal is the large number of apps that are available in the Google Wear OS store

In my opinion, the Galaxy Watch4 is the sportier version out of the two until you fit it with a leather strap and a classic watch face. Then it becomes the more classic out of the two models, because of it's cleaner / slimmer design.

Dude! This was great! I have the 3 and pre-ordered the 4 Classic. Super excited, but I still question the charger. Has Samsung FINALLY made their charging cradle "snap" to the watch and stay in place better? My only complaint with the 3. The charging magnet is just not very "sticky..."

Really? My 3 snap and magnet worked great the entire time I had it. It would literally pull the charger off the table if I got close enough. Just traded it in since Samsung upped the trade value and gave me 185$ for it. So far my 4 classic seems to work just like the 3, charger wise
